Winter Hair Care - 3B, Botticelli Curls

Good morning curlies!

I am having some major issues with my hair this winter. Lately my hair has been feeling dry and brittle. I feel like I have to wash it more often because the products I used on my hair in the summer feels like it's building up in my hair this winter, which is weird. Usually I co-wash, use a rinse out conditioner and use a leave-in with gel but it feels like the co-wash isn't really cleansing my hair so i end up washing it. When I style it I do my normal routine of leave-in, oil and gel. It seems like no matter what I use it causes build up. The other day I used the same routine and it was like i didn't add any product bc it was frizzy by the time it dried. I know I need to switch up my products but I'm not sure what to get. I'm assuming no protein, and add more humectants? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Here is a list of the products I use currently:
In the shower:
Co-wash - Eden BodyWorks Coconue Shea Cleansing CoWash
Rinse out - Tresemme Naturals or GVP Matrix by Biolage conditioning balm
Leave-in - Shea Moisture Yucca and Aloe Thickening Growth Milk
Oil (sealant) - One and Only Argan Oil
Gel - Garnier Fructis Pure Clean gel

I have tried but am still getting a build up:
Curls Unleashed Take Command Curl Cream
Curl Keeper

I think what I would like is to find a good enough curl cream or mousse that will give me a good hold and eliminate the frizz so that i won't even have to use a gel.

Haven't used many of your products. However, I can't use straight oil/butter on my low porosity hair, it just doesn't absorb. I did just look up the One and Only Argan Oil, the ingredients are:

Water (Aqua, Eau), Cetyl Alcohol, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum Huile Minerale), Glyceryl Stearate, Fragrance (Parfum), Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Dimethicone, Petrolatum, Polyquaternium-7, Cetrimonium Chloride, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Citric Acid, Tocopheryl, Acetate, DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate

No wonder you have build up! Not only does it have Dimethicone, it has Mineral Oil, Petrolatum and, another issue for me, Polyquaternium-7. You have to, at least, lowpoo (with coco b) to get rid of the 'cone, if not the other ingredients. I would have to use something with a pretty strong surfactant to get rid of them--probably a few times. But that's me and my low porosity hair.

After you clarify, if you want to do a CG routine with only cowashing, you have to become more savvy about ingredients.

I actually stopped using it because I didn't really need the extra oil in my hair during the winter and once my hair started getting the straw feeling which has been just this week I started using it again thinking I needed added moisture in my hair since oil is a sealant, correct? I used that oil all summer long with no issues until this past week. After doing research I believe it is the protein my hair is sensitive to because I remember having this same problem last year. I started using the Suave Humectant condish and GVP Matrix Biolage Conditioning balm and didn't have any issues (last winter) but I am not sure what to use on my hair as far as eliminating frizz, giving me a good hold, and defining my curls.
