What is your 3b/c routine?

I just went CG about a month ago and around that time I stopped wearing my hair pulled back in a bun (starting to get some breakage after years of wearing it that way). It took a few mistakes to get to my current routine, but now I use a combination of CG and Tightly Curly method. Every 2-4 days I co-wash and detangle with v05 conditioner (anything that's protein free), rinse that out, then comb in a bunch of Suave Naturals and leave it. For styling, I like to use HETT or HESMU mixed with a bit of olive oil or conditioner. The Tightly Curly method suggest smoothing individual curls at this point, but it's easier for me to just comb my stylers through. Since I shower at night, I usually braid my hair back, put on my satin cap, and go to bed. In the morning I unbraid my hair, touch up with gel and/or oil, rebraid, and done!
Once a week I cleanse with kinky curly shampoo and do a deep treatment with Shea moisture anti-breakage mask. Any other days I have to wet my hair I co-wash with Giovanni tea tree tingle conditioner. I either apply whatever conditioner I'm using at the time and don't rinse any out or apply kinky curly knot today for my leave-in depending on if I want a more defined look or more volume. I style with either kinky curly curling custard or jessicurl rockin ringlets. If I have time I apply the gels in small sections finger curling each one towards my face, air dry, and then separate each curl with some jane carter seal and shine on my fingers following with fluffing out the hair with a pic. If I don't have time I just scrunch a lot in and then scrunch in some oil after it's dry to take away the crunch (usually Argan). Once a month I do aphogee's two step protein treatment.
I don't use the CG method. After a week I wash my hair with shampoo but only focusing on my scalp and taking whatever is left to the ends of my hair. For conditioner I'm really heavy handed so I section my hair in two and tie of one half and start to put conditioner from root to tip and comb it through. Then I tie that off and do the same with the other half. I rinse out all the conditioner because I'm prone to buildup as well. I add on a different condition (herbal essence moisture) and repeat the process and let that sit and then I rinse that out with cold water. My styling routine I just some of the African pride Shea butter leave in miracle and I comb through it again and leave it airdry or if I'm in a rush I use my diffuser on the cool setting
I wash once or twice a week with Loreal Evercurl Shampoo and then condition with Aussie Moist (or whatever else is in the shower...I share a bathroom with 2 other women :P). I brush my conditioner in and then clip my hair into a top knot while I wash my body & shave. I rinse with cold water for about 10-15 seconds so that not all the conditioner gets rinsed out.

Afterwards, I part my hair into 4 sections and coat La Bella Lots of Curls gel onto it. Coat, scrunch, shake & I'm done.

I co-wash every 3 days or so with VO5, or Suave naturals. Then while I shave & wash myself in the shower, I put more condish in& rinse it all out. When I get out, I use Tresseme Naturals as my LI, followed by LA Looks Sport gel( I rake in all my products). On the ends only, i use a very small amount of Shea Moisture smoothie. I leave my hair soaking wet while I part it, then I scrunch, then I use a t-shirt & scrunch& pump but not too much. Then I'm done
My signature might tell it all, but i use a lot of weird stuff on my hair.
When i use a shampoo it a hand soap bar(nubian heritage), but i like how it act on my hair.
when it comes to conditioning i mix a moisturizing co with a protein treatment, and detangle and deep condition while this mix is in my hair.
this works for me, but it may differ for you i know it took me months to get something this simple.
Pre-Poo: Aleo/acv + oil
Shampoo: Shampoo bar
Conditiner: A Mix of things
Leave-in: thick leave in/ butter
Refresh: light leave in /water/oil
It's summertime, so it's hot - especially here in Vegas, so my routine is uber simple.
  1. Shampoo every 2 to 3 days (or more often as needed) with Aussie Moist or Garnier Fructis Frizz Control
  2. Condition w/ the aforementioned brands, and depending on my mood - rinse, partially rinse, or leave in conditioner
  3. Detangle and apply coconut oil
  4. Slick back into bun (held in place by scrunchie)
On days I wear my hair down, I completely rinse out the conditioner and rake in/scrunch Suave Captivating Curls Mousse and/or gel.
On Sundays I shampoo with any shea moisture shampoo, as long as it's not the coconut & hibiscus shampoo. I will then deep condition the whole day and into overnight.

The the morning I rinse the deep conditioner and style my hair (either diffuse or place in a bun to minimize heat)

At night I cowash/detangle and once I'm out the shower I apply a deep conditioner and leave it overnight again. I repeat this.

Some extras: I alternate moisture/protein conditioners. I also massage JBCO into my scalp before I do my nightly cowash
I wash and condition once a week with the SM Restorative Moisture line (shampoo and conditioner). If I feel like my hair needs a bit of protein I do a DT with SM Noni and Monoi mask. During the week when I want to rewet, I condition with the Restorative moisture conditioner, rinse it completely out and then style as usual.

To style, on clean/conditioned hair I finger comb Giovanni Direct Leave-In into sections of my hair while still in the shower (this is my detangling step). I then flip my head upside down and rinse out a portion of the conditioner. Once rinsed and still upside down I scrunch out excess water and wrap a t-shirt around my hair like a turban. Out of the shower, I remove the shirt after a few minutes and apply gel all over my hair (I do apply gel in sections). I typically air dry to about 80 or 90% dry and then blow dry my roots on a warm setting.
