Default Lustrasilk shea butter and mango cholesterol

Has anyone tried this...I was never a fan of Cholesterol 'till I tried this...I got the reference from LHCF. It has no cones, mineral oils and low protein or none, not sure. I love it and it smells sooo good. I payed like 3 something for it. It worked great as a DC for me... this has become a staple for me and for the price. I'd put up a pic of it but not sure how to do it..here is a link on what it looks like... I'm sure they sell it at sally's and walmart. I bought mine at a local ethnic beauty shop.

Yep I use it as a deep treatment every other week, or when I'm not trying other dts. I love the smell and it's a great dt!

yeah it got great reviews in that other forum so I figured i'd try it. It makes me mad that I spent so much money on trying to find a dt because most cheaper ones have cones and mineral oil or too much protein...wish I would have found it sooner...oh well

I bought it because of raves but haven't tried yet. I'm a little product saturated right now

I don't know why, but it's not as effective for me as it was when I first used it. I started to find myself needing more conditioning during the week when I used these conditioners vs. other conditioners I like.

Well I know that i has a little protein at the bottom of the ingredients which maybe why it stopped working...Some people's hair can't tolerate too much of it. Usually for me when a product stops working I clarify with an ACV rinse and than do a DT, maybe that will help.

I tried this one tonite, and i really like it. the smell isn't bad either. i also bought the olive oil one, but the smell is less than desirable. i luv finding inexpensive products that are cg and actually work. good stuff.

I just got this last week on sale at Sallys for like 2 dollars, but I have not tired it yet. Will probably try this weekend, we will see how it goes.

I use this as a DT and I use some in my leave-in "concoction". It is very moisturizing.

I love this conditioner, but stopped using it because of DMDM Hydantoin:

Urea (Imidazolidinyl) & DMDM Hydantoin
These are just two of many preservatives that release formaldehyde (called “formaldehyde donors”). According to the Mayo Clinic, formaldehyde can irritate the respiratory system, cause skin reactions and trigger heart palpitations. Exposure to formaldehyde may cause joint pain, allergies, depression, headaches, chest pains, ear infections, chronic fatigue, dizziness, and loss of sleep. It can also aggravate coughs and colds, and trigger asthma. Other possible side effects include weakening the immune system and cancer. Formaldehyde-releasing ingredients are very common in nearly all store brands of skin, body, and hair care, antiperspirants, and nail polish.

I used to use as a DT faithfully a few years ago and loved it. I bought some a few Months ago and tried it and it did nothing. Maybe its bcs a few yrs ago my hair was dry, so after DTing with it my hair was moisturized. Now my hair seems to be healthier so it did not seem to do its magic.
SBB thanks for the info!
