Default Jessicurl routine

I'm actually a cross between 2c and 3a so I will post this on both boards. I just bought Jessicuel RR and CCSS and I need a good routine because so far, my hair is not looking so hot with these products. Right now this is my routine.
1. Wash with No Poo (about 2X per week)
2. Condition with One Condish (Leave a little in)
3. Flip head over and scrunch in 2 puddles of RR (no raking through)
4. Still flipped, scrunch with tshirt
5. Scruch in more RR and a quater size of CCSS
6. Plop for about 30 minutes and diffuse.

Someone please help!

Maybe try 2 or 3 smaller amounts of CCSS and scrunch them in making sure they go throughout all of your hair. It wouldn't hurt to e-mail Jess and tell her your routine and see what she thinks. She is awesome about trying to troubleshoot and help her customers. (jess@jessicurl.com)

I usually use and mix two puddes of RR and CC and then rake.... that is it.... Perhaps cut down the plopping for fifteen minutes.....maybe ten.... I just started using jessicurl last week... and it's worked wonders for my hair....

I have been styling my hair for about three years and my hair keeps getting better and better. I have a variety of routines but have cut down on experimenting products and found a good stylist who cuts my hair (although he cuts it wet, its hard to find one where I live, but I am happy with him).

Good idea about the plopping. Sometimes less plopping is better, especially with any kind of cream styling products. I've found (and I think PixieCurl has said this too) that with creams, plopping seems to sometime cause more frizz. It's good with gels though!

right again kimmy
if i use a cream, i only plop for long enough to get a shirt over my head. if i plop any longer, it's like my hair has no product in it as it dries. i also scrunch with a microfiber towel before applying the cream, unlike with gel which i apply to soaking wet hair.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I actually think I found a combo that works with Jessicurl. What I do is scruch RR into soaking wet hair, scrunch with a tshirt then apply about a tennis ball amount of ICE Whip. I have been getting very nice first and second day hair this way. I think the ICE gives enough hold for me and the RR enhances my curls. Now I just need to find a way to incorporate CCSS into the routine.
