My hair is loving Life and CON!

I shampood with CON on Tuesday and then did Jessiecurl DT with a little jojoba oil in it and my hair looks AMAZING! I also went back to my old gel, Dep Moisturizing Gel (has water soluble cones). I mixed it with the Aura Hypo-Allergenic gel and my hair has shine and beautiful curls. Both textures (I'm transitioning) look great! :D

I have never tried a shampoo and loved it so much like CON. It's very moisturizing and actually detangled my hair somewhat (I detangle with condish).

This was the third time using Jessiecurl DT (I DT and shampoo once a week) and the other times I wasn't impressed. So this time I decided to add a little jojoba oil to it to help spread it more easily and I used less since it's so concentrated. It worked wonders.

My hair looks so good that now I don't know if I want to cut it. Double edged sword. Can't win. But in the meantime....I'm soooo happy :D

Hello!

Happy to hear that this routine and products is working for you. Don't you just love Jessicurl DT?
So, you use jojoba oil with the DT? I have some of her oil blend for softer hair that I've thought about mixing with the DT, but am concerned that it may leave my hair oily. How much oil did you use and did it leave it oily?
Did you just rinse the DT out and style?
Thanks in advance! :)

Ladydncing,

This is what I did.....I would scoop out about a nickle size amount of the DT and while it was in my hand I would add about a pea size amount of jojoba oil. I then rubed my hands together and applied it to my hair.

I section my hair shingling style when i DT. So the first section is at the nape and I work my way up to the crown. So the nickle and pea size amounts gets applied to each section. I might add more stuff to the canopy since it's really troll looking hair there.

When I was done applying the DT I put a platic cap on and sat under my hooded dryer for 30 minutes. I then rinsed it all out. That day I put in a little leave in conditioner but my hair doesn't seem to like anything left in it.

My hair didn't feel oily at all, it felt hydrated and shiny. Hope my explanation is clear.

Yes, thanks that was very clear!

I may have to adjust that because I use a lot
of DT about 1-2 oz. So, I'll that ratio in mind
when I do my DT this week!

Thanks again! :)

DT

You know, I never ordered the Jessicurl DT because the ingredients are exactly the same as Too Shea, except it has coconut oil...is it really that different? I think I had a sample once and it seemed thicker but I never really used it the way I was supposed to lol.

I wouldn't order it if the ingredients are the same. The DT is thicker and the first couple of times I used it I didn't care for it. It was after I put jojoba oil in it that it seemed to work really well.
