so today...i did the unthinkable!
i mixed B&A AND Angell on the same head of curls! I know i know! terrifying! don't hit the back button in fear!!...just wait...let me share the story....it all began this morning...

frustrated with how B&A gave me clumpy curls, but not always in my top layer. and how angell gave me curls with more frizz. i decided to try something new.
i left in my 2 quarters of aveda elixir (one raked with a drop of honey, the other scrunched)
then i scrunched in 2 nickels of B&A...
and on a whim...i scrunched in 1 dime-nickel of Angell in my canopy only.
plopped for 15 mins
pixiecurl dried for 5 mins (just enough to get rid of the weight)
airdried on my drive to work
then scrunched out the crunch when i got there.
i have fab curls! everyone kept wanting to touch them! and they did! and i still don't have frizz!!!! (i'll post pictures in a few!)

what i say is true! no fabrications! no gobbledy-gook!

now go forth! and form a touchable frizz-free army of gorgeous curlies the world will love and fear!!!!!! go forth!!!!!

(yes i am this big of a goofball ALL the time! ) hehehe

B&A and Angell!! I may try this. Fab curls that have no frizz and that everyone want to touch?! How can you beat that? Maybe that's just what Angell needs for a little extra hold. Thanks for posting.

yeah, the ky hair felt okay, but it looked pretty horrible!
i'm going to try this combo again tomorrow and see how it works.
it worked okay for second day hair...i don't like how second day hair feels, though, so i usually end up in a ponytail...like today!

but tomorrow? i'm looking forward to awesome curls again!

Lookin' pretty fab Meghan! I usually get nice results with this too! I think they complement each other and make up for the each other's weaknesses (though I love the big clumps of B&A!). But I'm on a sort of 'hair diet' this week, so I'm not using any products, just lots of moisture and conditioning. Did WDT after ACV then Sally's version of K-pak last night, and my hair feels like a million bucks.
