When it comes to short hair I cannot tell. Alana and Thiago have the same type of hair. I was not sure if they are 3cs or 3bs. I guess they are 3bs. I can take them off if you would like.

Hmmm, Niccole looks 3b.5 or a "damp" 3c LOL in those pictures. I think she has pretty hair so she stays.
Oh no, don't take them off, they all have great hair to look at. I was just sayin', because some people seem so sure I'm not 3c and some think I definitely am, and I am confused... based on the range of pictures posted, I definitely think when natural, and even texturized, I fall into it.
If Alex Kingston is the poster girl for 3bs then you are a 3c.

I think people get confused because you can do so much with your hair (which I love that you can do that). You are more of the "medium" side of 3c, some others are on the "tighter" side, and some are in between but we are all 3cs.
Don't you think that your hair loosens as it grows. When it was short, my hair was a more tight. I'm wondering if the curl size is as important as texture (like the other systems capture).

yes it does, a lot, and especially at the root, and it hangs flatter too. It's like two different heads of hair from chin length to bra strap length. Very good point.

Well, yes and no. My curls are pretty loose when my hair is short and natural... It was a little curlier at chin length with all natural hair, but I've never grown it to BSL..... Now I am so curious!

Maybe Michelle and Gretchen will hire them to select our model and/or celebrites? I am really enjoying these pictures thanks for taking the time to post them.
Yes, keep them coming!

I *love* this haircut. I wonder how it would look on me...my hair is much thicker, though. It probably wouldn't stay down. But it's really cute on her.

don't y'all shoot me, but I don't like the Alana Davis short hair, it looks weird. I LOVE Karyn Parsons' that curltopia posted. I already have that pic for if I ever cut my hair (that's the shortest I would want to go.) My husband is not comfortable about it so I am always showing him pictures to get him used to it (we're talking years away, for now I love me some long hair!)

Amneris-

I'm glad that you like the Karyn Parsons pic I figured out how to post pictures last night so went crazy here and on the 3b and 3b/c thread.... Come back over there since there are more representative pictures now and I want to know what you think! Tatyana Ali and Stacey Dash have gorgeous hair. I'm so in love with it... And needless to say that Lisa Bonet's hair back in the day was divine..

Shyygirl-

FAB new pictures as usual.... The Sienna Goines picture is AMAZING

Subbrock-

So many of these pictures are just breathtaking. That Sherri Saum pic -- boy oh boy would I love to have my hair hang like that!

And me, I think Alana Davis's short haircut is adorable: it's uncontrolled but still rather cute! Hard to achieve in short hair that's longer than half an inch.
