Please Help! Emergency RX???

I tried a new clarifying product last night (and left it on a really really long time because of an unexpected phone call). When I rinsed it out, I found that my hair was completely stripped of curls!!!

Today I have tried every conditioner I own and have still not recovered my curls (I'm out of Too Shea). I have complete brillo head right now. I have nothing against regular fros, but this is NOT cute.

The worst part? I start a new job tomorrow!

Help! What should I try??? I live near a Walgreens and will travel for a miracle cure.

My hair doesn't like jojoba (small amounts okay), mineral, or coconut oil.

try getting your regular condish and leave it in the whole day and night and when you wash it out your curls might be back but if they are not just wear a pony tail and if your hair is too short just get a headband

I agree with the above recommendation, but maybe a deep condish treatment may work better than regular condish. But again it depends on what regular condish you have. Elucence can be used as a regular condish, as leave-in and also for DTs and is highly recommended. If you're not too concerned about cones, and have a Sally's near you, they carry a product called Hair Mayonaise (can't remember who makes it), but it is supposed to be very good for DTs. Also L'Oreal Mega Moisture as DT is very good. These two I think have cones. Sally's has many others. At Walgreens or DS, maybe Aussie 3 minute moisture for DT. I'm sure others will chime in with more suggestions. HTH

ETA: Also have read here where some add coconut oil or olive oil or vege glycerine to above recommendations for added moisturizing and softening benefits. Also Shea Butter has some awesome softening and moisturizing benefits.

First you need a moisturizing deep treatment. You need some serious moisture. Try wetting your hair and then applying shea butter or Elasta QP Mango Butter or something else that is super moisturizing. It's hard to tell because I don't know what you have at home. Don't panic. I did the same thing about a month ago.

Okay. Feeling a little better.

Went to Walgreens and bought Organic Root Stimulator's Olive Oil Replenishing Pak (the Hair Mayo had mineral oil). It has glycerine, olive oil, orange oil, aminos, aloe, pathenol, and a water-soluble cone. It smells divine and seems to be working already.

I'm going to leave this on for an hour or so. Then I am going to pick up some MOP Leave In for the morning.

BTW, the clarifier I tried was Suave's Daily Clarifying Shampoo.

i really hope everything worked out with your hair. and i hope you had a good day at work. congrats on the new job (you poor thing what a thing to happen right before you start your new job)

Thanks all! My hair actually ended up being super curly today. I will definately be keeping that Olive Oil Pak in circulation baby. My hair still smells really yummy from it too!
