If you were stranded on a desert island...
How many products would you need, and which ones? Bonus points for naming the island of your choice
At the bare minimum, I would need 3 products - a gentle cleanser, an excellent all purpose conditioner/moisturizer (with some sun protection ) and an all purpose gel. So, I would like to have:
- Lamas chinese herbs (or Jessicurl hair cleansing cream)
- Kenra Intensive Emollient Treatment
- Ouidad climate control (since it's good for humidity - there are other gels that I love just as much).
If I was very lucky, I'd also have some Jessicurl Too Shea and Devacurl Angell on hand too Well, since I am a huge PJ, if I were lucky, I would have my top 10
Maybe Puerto Rico....

One product. Any one of the conditioners I love which include OC, Alba leave-in, John Masters Organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler, or MOP leave-in. Which island? I have to do some more traveling before i could choose one!

I'd have to get stranded in the Caribbean, maybe a remote island of the Bahamas, and like Potterville I could survive just with Elucence MBC and the oil I'd get out of the coconuts there. In fact I could get by with none if they had coconuts....

all i would need would be the Nexxus Therappe Shampoo, Nexxus Humectress Conditioner, and a detangling comb
I would have to get stranded on a Tahitian island, a Pacific island, or somewhere in the Caribbean

The product—Kerasoft leave-in conditioner.
The place—a little island off of Parati (Brasil). You guys can have your hurricanes in the Caribbean. LOL

Hey!!!!! The hurricane belt is mostly the eastern Caribbean, not the north, south or west.

3 products: Shampoo + conditioner--Probably the Phyto organics or A/G and a gel that has aloe vera in it.
Island: Isla del Coco!
Yes, there has been a lot of rain here in the Caribbean. Everything is damp but trees and flowers are looking beautiful, lush and green.

This sounds like fun! I had to think about this for a while. It's good that I am doing this because I will be going on vacation and can't take all of these bottles with me!
I voted for the one with the highest number, so it was no less than 4.
My four are:
1. Elucence - I can use this to condish wash, DT using the sun, condition and use as a leave in.
2. Ouidad CC - since it's an excellent gel for the hot and humid weather.
3. AnGell Gel - Since I love gel, I need to take another one to rotate for those not so hot and humid days.
4. Would ACV count as one? - to remove any build up. If it doesn't count then I would would take Jessicurl stimulating scalp massage oil.
Oh, it would be one of the Virgin Islands, probably St. Thomas or St. John. I've been to both and both are beautiful. Can't decided.
Curltopia, this was hard. I would have to leave behind the beloved One Condish and my whole Jessicurl line except for the oil.

Lady -
Tell me about it .... Personally, I would love to have a baker's dozen of my favorites there to keep me and my hair happy with some variety... I'd be stranded on the island with Alejandro Sanz too

You and your Alejandro.
I'd have 3 products: Mastey Traite 'poo, conditioner(Not sure what I'd pick but it would be between a picking of three or four different brands), and my gel. I maybe could just get away with a leave in.....but that's a big maybe.
As far as the island, I don't really know, considering I've never ventured outside of N. America. But based off of the pics that I've seen, maybe Turks and Caicos.

Ditto!! I could live with just my MBC. On my lazy days, it's the only product I use!

One: conditioner. EMB or even Suave. Hey, can I bring a rubberband? If we're on an island it might be hot and I'm not sure I want all that hair on my neck.

I'd bring a conditioner I could cleanse with and coconut oil. It would be more of a 'fro look that I tend to rock, but it is a deserted island . . .
I am hoping to go off on some extended travel sometime in the next year, and I've basically decided to go gel-free. It's just too heavy to carry very much of it, and I'm too picky to assume that I'll find something that I like at, you konw, the corner store in the middle of the Sahara . . .
I do believe, however, that I can find oil everywhere. So oil is my desert island hair product.
