I am trying - I am growing out the chemicals and I am only using conditioner, oil and kitchen stuff in my hair.

Hey Coily!

I color my roots once a month, but other than that I just use what's in my signature and I don't have time for braids, twistouts, etc.

Potterville, I will just give the twists and cornrows a rest this summer. I have to get used to that. I love just wetting my hair and going.

I am totally naked. Does color count? I had my hair dyed in APril but I'm not doing it anymore.

Me too that is all for this summer. I have to figure out what to do for fall and winter because it will be here before you know it. For now Summer which is my favorite season. Naked is what I will be. I do a rinse twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening before going to bed.

Since doing this I have noticed I have gotten many looks from men and women.

The men's looks are like who is this beautiful woman. Welcoming me with .

The women's looks are like I wish I could to that. No of course.

I don't do any of those things. I don't colour it either.

And I've been trying out kitchen products on my hair....

My hair has never been chemically treated! Right now I CO wash, a couple of times a week I use Fruit Of The Earth Aloe Gel, and the occasional DT. Other than that, I just let it do it's thing!!

me! i've never had my hair chemically relaxed or straightened. i've only colored it once or twice...all i really do is wash and condition (once every week or so) use a good leave-in and a little oil at night. i really try not to mess with my hair too much. i like it better that way.

Honey's awesome. I haven't tried molasses yet, though. ACV works for me. I'm trying out coconut oil as a prewash treatment, but I've only tried it the once because my hair never really feels dry any more. I'm going to try coconut oil and honey as the main ingredients in a conditioner/detangler today and see how I like that.

It's so weird - my hair never really feels DIRTY anymore now that I've stopped using Cones and SLS.
