looking for hairstyle-cut ideas/photos short(to med) 3a

anyone who is happy with their short hair...send photos, or links I can search on for ideas. thinking of going from shoulder length to a short bob or maybe even a pixie
i have shorter hair and it's been a variety of lengths over the past year. there are some pictures of me with a pixie cut too (though i wouldn't suggest it..never looks as cute as a straightie)
while i can't say i'd recommend any of my particular hair cuts (as i'm trying to grow it out), it might give you an idea!

...yikes...why are you growing it out? that's what I am afraid of--cutting it short again and then being sorrrrrrrrrrrrryyy.
My hair is around chin length and I like it for the most part. I do have a bit of 3b in my hair though. I want to grow it out, but only because some of the 3a parts have lost a lot of curl at their current length. That is one thing to keep in mind, that if you are a true 3a and cut off a significant amount of hair, it will be less curly.

Used to be: YesICan...work with this hair. Spring is here, so I'm curly again...what a relief!

SO, i decided to grow my hair long again. for me, when my hair is longer it's definately a LOT more wash and go then it was at pixie length. no more straightening, no more fighting, just letting it be!
i also didn't like it short because i felt the need to wear full makeup...i guess i was worried people would mistake me for a boy. so i did the eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrows, blush routine...
now that it's longer? i'm content with mascara and eyebrows! hahaha
so it's one less thing to add to my routine.
if you're thinking about cutting it short. do it more gradually, because like curlymel said, it can definately effect your curls!

good luck!

ok, this is really funny, but it's the only pic of me with short hair that i can find. feel free to laugh your behind off. it's an old pic and i have no idea who i was annoyed by or why... but at least you can see the cut (and my desperate need for a deep conditioning treatment... obviously i hadn't discovered nc.com yet).

(egad, i can't believe i'm going to allow people to see this photo. the things i'm willing to do for the cause!)

(**edited**) I think that pimple on my cheek is a recurring one. Never realized it before.
