Default Abba products

How do you all feel about Abba products? I haven't really ventured into this line, but right now, I'm looking for a cone free, protein free condish and a SLS free clarifying shampoo. Any thoughts?

I don't think that Abba is going to meet your requirements CC... I like Abba Nourishing as a leave-in post coloring treatments, but it is loaded with proteins... I have the Creme Masque line too, and will check it tonight for you. I've never seen the Weightless gel that everybody seems to love...

I love ABBA products. All the conditioners are pretty good. I've never tried their shampoos. I also use the Nourishing as a leave in. Curltopia is right though, they have lots of protein. I use it though because it is vegan and it is hard to find vegan hair products out there.

Have you tried Aubrey's Organic products? I believe some of their hair products are vegan.

Yes, most of Aubrey Organics hair products are vegan. I've wanted to try Aubrey Organics, but my Whole Foods doesn't carry it. I have specifically wanted to try the AO Mandarin Orange Gelly or something like that because I hear it is very good.

Try the Vitamin Shoppe. Do you have one near you? If not, you can order online. Their prices are great also.

I use ABBA nourishing on my 3c daughter (see avatar). I like it a lot. I'm looking for something a little more hydrating these days, but this is the thing I have stuck with the longest andhave been overall the most satisfied with. After I wet her hair, I use quite a bit of nourishing and then comb through with fingers or a wide toothed comb.

It gives her nice hydrated looking curls. I would recommend at least trying it! We used it today and her hair looks great.

I love Abba Nourishing. For something without protein (but not vegan), try Paul Mitchell The Conditioner.

Aubrey Organics is a great line. I love the GPB.

I tried the free Abba samples, sent by Curlmart. I liked the shampoo. THe conditioner I couldnīt tell much because those samples have such a small quantity. It has 2 cones as well.

Iīve used Fantasia IC gel before. I canīt recall, but I donīt think it has proteins. I didnīt like it that much. The consistency was sticky. But back then my hair was full of build-up, so nothing worked.

Probably somebody that is currently using this gel will help answer your question

Not sure which Fantasia product you mean (or if this is on the wrong thread).

Fantasia IC Gel with Sparkle Lites has protein.

Purified Water Aqua, Glycerin, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Aloe Vera Gel, Dimethicone Copolyol, Tocopherol Acetate, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Polysorbate-20, Benzopehonoe-4, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance

Fantasia IC Hair Polisher, on the other hand, is just full of silicones.

Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Aloe Extract, Benzophenone-3, Fragrance

CC-

I'm not sure if you've found your products, but here are some recommendations.

For conditioner that fits your requirements, all I can think of is Suave Aloe.

For shampoo, check out Lamas Chinese Herbs. (I really like Lamas Soy Balancing condish and shampoo too but both have soy protein)
