Default i went to the doctor..

..because i have sinus problems. i sneeze like mad in the mornin and i get running nose. my mom who has been observing me says its because i been washing my hair with cold water everyday and plopping it. the cold water "stays" in my hair/head till i diffuse it.
i told my doctor abt how i wash my hair every morning. and she told me maybe i can do it in the evenings or wash my hair with warm water and try washing on alternate days.
im back to bun-- since im going to work every morning. i dont see the point doing the curly routine in the evening since i will be at home only.
i have no idea what to do. any advice?

i dont think that you should have to go to the extreme of putting your hair in buns everyday....i think that washing with warm water can work too. if you were washing with cold water b.c. is makes ur hair shiny, you can probably just get a product that will do that for you.

If water temperature alone might make a difference, that sounds good, what crazycurlx10 said. Also, have you experiemented much with doing your hair at night? I'm sure you could get a lot of tips on that if that's something you want to try. How annoying this must be for you! [editing to add this] I recently discovered that using honey with my leave-in is giving me decent 2nd-day.

Cold water does not make you have sinus problems. If you are washing in cold water to the point where you are shivering, your resistance could be lowered and you can get sick. If your body temperature is fine, there is no way a cold rinse can be responsible for your sinus issues. Once your hair is plopped, the heat from your head is trapped by the towel and your hair is not able to sit in cold water.
