Nice pics, Rainyday.
I swear the more pics I see, the more I am really convinced you are my twin(or a really close hair relative).

Both of you have beautiful hair. Your daughter's natural blonde streaks are lovely as well as her eyes.
It's amazing how we all have different textures that are in the same "family" so to speak. For instance, I'm 3c on top and front, but completely 4a around the sides and back. Sometimes, this can be a pain in the azz when styling. The top/front falls while the sides dry into these pencil thin coils. It's wonderful in a way, but I would prefer it to be ALL the same. Sometimes, certain styling products can make the top/front floppy while the sides stay completely at ease. This for me can result in a bad hair day, because the top/front is longer than everything else.
I really, really need to start putting pics up.

Ug, my curls are much looser in the front and top too! It drives me crazy because it grows so much faster than the rest... if I forget about my hair for a while and don't trim it, I end up with a "cliff hanger" layer over the whole top. I overcut it just a little while back and its already grown back. I wish the rest of my hair grew that fast!

I just added some new pictures . Its very depressing to note that my hair looks almost the exact same length as it did in
FREAKIN OCTOBER.
Blah. Well, its much much longer for like 10 minutes after my shower, anyway.
I complain that my hair doesn't grow in the winter and now I have photographic proof. I trimmed nary a hair, besides 5 split ends or so.

I see a difference in growth, and I'm not just saying that to make you feel better.
When you look at your newer side profile pic compared to the last side profile taken, I see maybe an inch to an inch and a half difference in length(especially looking at the longer layers). Which probably equals between 2-3 inches(stretched). And just looking at your July and Feb. pics shows just how much your hair REALLY is growing.
Oh, and I LOVE your color. Very pretty!

I know I am a little late on this but.....OMG I am in love with your hair!!!!! Your hair is the ideal way I'd love for mine to be! I think your curls are tighter than mine, and thicker, the way I wish mine were. I would love to have your bulk! All day long I'm turning my head upside down and shaking my fingers in it trying to create big hair...and it just aint happenin! What type of cut do you have? I really want mine to be cut like that, but I've never know how to describe it to a stylist. I did read that you cut it yourself, but what is your technique? I missed the pics of your daughter. I'd love to see them. Are they all gone? I want to get my hair highlighted this summer, and I want them to look very natural, like they grow that way. I always see children with the highlights (naturally) that I'd like to achieve, but never had a pic.
One more time, your hair is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Your hair looks absolutely fabulous!!! Like shygirl said, I can totally see growth from your previous pictures and the color looks great. I know growing your hair out can be frustrating, but keep it up, it is looking really good.

Thanks for the compliments guys! After I posted I looked in the mirror and thought 'You spaz, it is SO growing' I just don't feel like its living up to its growth potential
LOL, the COLOR! Thats my camera! My hair is still way dark brown.
My oldest does have great highlights. Actually, when she was about a year old her hair turned white, and then its slowly grown back in brown. Thats why she has such different colors. I try soooo hard not to have to cut any of the ends off, but you know how wild kid hair can get.
The haircut: I always had a triangle head, but then I sort of just carefully cut the bottom rounded, instead of flat. I think I did it curl by curl, and over a few days.

I love your hair too-- I resist choosing favorites, but your hair would definitely be on my list if I had one! And I can tell it's grown too.

I love your hair! It looks to be the same hairtype as mine, but yours looks much nicer. I LOVE the style.....I've been contemplating a cut - mine is shoulder length - and would like a cut like yours (although I'd have to do it myself because I don't know of any stylists that cut curly hair). What products do you use and what is your routine?

I adore your hair! WOW! I love the way it lays so even and nicely all around your head! Did you cut in layers? How did you cut it to make it lay so nicely?
Sorry if you already answered this question! I was too lazy to read all the other posts! (Gave me curl envy LOL)
