Default Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 Miracle Worker? anyone

tried this? I posted this under general discussion but got no replies:

I'm thinking of trying Hawaiian Silky Miracle Worker. I saw it on my last trip to the beauty supply store. Has anyone tried it? What do you think about it? I would like a spray that's heavy with alot of moisture for dry second day and up hair.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

I have decided not to try the Hawaiian Silky.

I have ordered Jamaican Mango & Lime Cactus leave-in instead. It got rave reviews on Shygirl's thread. When I receive it I will post a review there.

Since I couldn't find it in Canada, I ordered it from their website yesterday.

Thanks for replying

Ok then, I look forward to that review. In the meantime, I think I will try the Hawaiian Silky because I've been eyeing it for a while myself. I'll let you know what it does for my hair.

Hi Annann,

Did you try the Hawiian Silky? How was it? I hope that you like it.

My leave-in just arrived today so I'll be trying it tomorrow morning.

I have not tried the Hawaiian spray yet. I had a few products that I wanted to use up first, and I'm just about there. My plan is to stock up on some things this weekend. Hopefully, I'll have a review next week!

Thanks! I purchased this product this weekend but took it back because there was no ingredient listing on any of the bottles. That made me nervous!

Just wanted to say that I bought and tried it yesterday and love it. It is soooo moisturizing. My hair this morning felt very soft and so not thirsty. It was a good purchase.

Hello Annann,

I'm glad to hear that you like the Hawaiian Silky.

What are the ingredients?

Do you use it alone or do you layer it with other products?

Not sure of the ingredients and if memory serves me correctly, I don't think I saw them on the bottle, but I wasn't worried. I more or less looked at what it would do for my hair and I'm pleased with the results.

I also coupled it with the Africa's Best liquid mayo leave-in.

Default Reviving old thread: Hawaiian Silk 14 in 1

I just wanted to revive this old thread because this product is on sale currently at Sally Beauty ($3.99).

If you can stand to use a product with mineral oil, this is very nice! For me, it's a very inexpensive alternative to DevaCurl Set it Free and smells delicious.

I would personally like to thank everyone who has posted in this forum, after reading it I went and bought some Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 today. My hair is microbraided and I washed them this morning (I hate dirty hair, I don't care how long I'm supposed to keep these things in). Anyway, my hair/scalp was dry because of the recent wash and after I applied this my hair and scalp felt nourished and had a shine I haven't seen in a while. I can't wait to get these braids out in a month or two (we'll see) and see how this stuff works with shea butter.

Smile It's Wonderful!!

When my hair looks like it can't go anymore, I spray this on my hair and style/blow dry my hair. My hair looks wonderful. Can't do without it and my Silk Elements Olive Oil line.

Thanks, Iris

Its a good product I used it even before my transition as a conditioner, moisturizer, and sometimes a leave in. Not sure of the ingredients either but i love it for the price

What a coincidence, I bought some of this stuff maybe a year ago and tried it twice and hated it.. it coats, plumps/fattens, makes it puffy, dull, and greasy all in one.. i hated it.. i tried it again last week with mixed chicks and what a mistake i was greasy all day lol and my hair looked a puffy, dry, fat, over-conditioned rough coated greasy mess...
