Default sort of screwed..-UPDATED

.. my hair up.
1. i highlighted my hair.. i really love the color.. but now my hair looks little drier than usual.
2. the curls are looser.. i think because when the stylist was applying the highlights- she stretch it and applied and plastered it for abt 20 minutes. and to make the color more radiant.. she placed me under hot ait abt 15 minutes.

any idea how do i get back /lock in some moisture into my hair?
Olive oil maybe???'

i hv one pic uploaded in my Transitioning album - "new color"

Wow, beautiful curls and highlights!

I think using oil will help, such as olive, jojoba, coconut or shea butter. Besides this, using some aloe vera along with the oils will help your hair.

Another way is to DT with avocado, olive oil and honey. HTH!

...meaning the plant. I have an aloe vera plant in my house. I just cut a small piece of the leaf, slice it and then take the juice out.

You can also get the edible aloe vera juice and put it in your hair. Iīve also seen that a lot of people on this site use aloe vera gel (FOTE). I canīt get this type of gel so I just use it straight from the plant.

First of all - FABULOUS color!!

My hair damages really easy. I found a recipe in a beauty book that works wonders - 1 egg, 1/4 c olive oil, 2 Tbs. honey. Apply to damp hair - leave on for 20-30 mins and wash out. Great stuff, makes my hair good for a week. Just a thought.

Wow, I love the color oddisy!

I'd be careful with aloe vera gel, because people here said it dried their hair out after a while.

Let us know how it goes when you try three river's recipe, it sounds great!

Yes! It seems like a good DT (egg, olive oil and honey), but how do you get rid of the smell?

i have been googling around for home made home moisture.
i found most of it suggesting mayyo and heat cap for abt 20 minutes.
then rinse of with COLD water.

im just wondering can i do this every 2 days once? i just feel my hair is fried..?

Yeah, it can be a little stinky...but I wash it out with a fragrant shampoo. I also usually do this at night, so I don't smell it for long.

Yes, I completely agree Beautiful hair as always Plus, the highlights look deeper or darker/richer than the celebrity picture you posted as a model, so I am happy with your results. Let us know how the DT's go.

i was really worried , since it was already really dry..! but i took the risk and washed with my herbal shampoo.. i really think my hair is going back to normal.. i dont see the limpy curls.. little frizz!
i hope it lasts. maybe my hair was over conditioned!

i will DT soon.

thanks all of you..
