That's whats up. I'm learning the more my hair goes, it's a reciprocal relationship with curls LOL.
What you do unto them, they do unto YOU. LOL

Thank you ladies! We had a great wedding day, good weather, lovely ceremony, and delicious food.. no honey moon though. We were back to work on the Monday after our wedding. I did a blog post about it also, so a few pix are there.
Also I just trimmed my hair on Tuesday.. it grows so fast when I frequently cut it, or maybe I just notice it more going from short to in-between length.
Anyways I cut about an inch or two from the back and sides again and left the front long. I'm thinking very soon I will do another big chop.. I am starting to really enjoy short hair. As much as I admire long hair, I have realized I don't have the patience to grow it or maintain it at longer lengths. If I really really want some long hair I will go out and buy it in the form of a wig (even though I'm generally not a wig fan).

I was just looking at your Fotki, Bekka. I like your new hair cut. A-line looks great with your hair and face.

I'm taking the lazy way out right now . . just washed my hair and because I don't feel like detangling it right now, I just gussied up some conditioner to make a DC, slapped it in my hair, and put a plastic bag over my head, a bandanna, and a hat. I'm going to sleep with this junk in my hair . . all for the sake of laziness.
I'll detangle tomorrow sometime.

Why do I love henna so much?!
I'm wanting to do a henna treatment, but I just did one last week. And the week before that. It's just too much fun.

Congratulations Bekkapoo! I just saw your wedding pictures you have on your blog. You look beautiful.
Its raining outside and I feel so BLAH
I'm about to mix an Amla treatment with some avocado & argan oil. I'll probably steam afterward with AOHR.

New discovery for hair journey
My hair wants me to lay off the heat. My curls reverted right back after a FAIL roller set and FAIL flat iron.
LOL It's all good..you live and you learn.

I'm thinking I want to do some sort of long term protective styling. I'm thinking about braids (with or without extensions, haven't decided yet). I don't know though!

People cannot say that protective styling doesn't work . . wosah. I'm a believer. I've had my hair in twists or two strand twists for the last 2 1/2 months and before that my fro . . was a fro (about an inch or two above my shoulders when dry) and now my hair touches my shoulders when dry.

I want to chop all of my hair off! I almost want to shave it off. I think that'd be so cool. Where did this urge come from? I recently did a HUGE CHOP (10+inches) and am barely even to ponytail length. I reallllllllllllllly want to though... *Twitches*
Oh, in case anyone gets the wrong idea - I'm not frustrated by my hair or anything. Just a random impulse.

I watched it too..pretty good work this time...better than the Miriam episode. I do think he cut in a bit too much in the center-back area, if that makes any sense. The overall change really perked Amanda up, she looked great after!
There's one I watched the other day w/Teresa(maybe type 2 w/some 3a IIRC) that didn't want hers straightened but Ted went ahead. ..no bueno there. She had it curled it up again before the end of the show.
