need some encouragement to try honey!

i keep reading about how wonderful honey is, but i can't seem to get past the idea of using it in my hair! for some reason, i keep picturing walking around with a cloud of bees trailing behind me. lol

i bought a new bottle but haven't gotten the courage to use it yet -- any suggestions for baby steps to get started?

thanks

i have been using honey for a while now mixed with my leave in and i like what it does it terms of frizz control and curl definition... Be careful with the amount- just a drop or two at most because too much gives you crunch.

but beware- it may lighten you hair over time...

There's just nothin' to it but to DO it! Start small -- a few drops mixed into your conditioner to get a feel. You should notice a difference right off and then you'll be hooked like all the rest. But believe me, no matter how much you do end up using (though I rinse mine out) the bees found much more interesting places to party than around my head.

If you like your hair dark, don't use it - it is lightening.

I add the honey to my conditioner, put on a plastic cap while in the shower to help it penetrate the hair, and I get the shiniest, prettiest curls. Now that my hair is getting a little longer I can really see the benefits of honey. You should try it. You will be HOOKED!
