Styling Putty

I was just surfing the web and was looking at styling putty. Has anyone used any. If so what brand and how did it work out for you?

I guess Sebastian Molding Mud and I.C.E. Slicker would qualify. I use both for special occassions - it works really well for twisting/fingercurling wet hair into very defined curls.

Okay I saw salon selectives. I thought I would try that. Thanks for the info.

I am interested in more reviews of styling putty if people have them to share....

TIA!

I've been using Salon Selectives Molding Putty as a finisher on the cottony parts of my hair--the bits that like to look like undefined fuzz (cotton candy). It works pretty well for keeping those parts defined. I haven't used it on my whole head, but I imagine it has a slightly stronger hold than a gel.

I know some people compared SSMD to Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding (in that big Curly Pudding thread).

A styling putty that seems similar to SSMD in texture is Head Wear Strung Out Styling Goo. It probably costs about the same as the SSMD. (I linked the ingredients to both. The Styling Goo has a little almond oil and aloe vera in it.) I just ran out of SSMD and might try this one next.
Thanks alot
