Are you looking to get a conditioner or a styling product?

I like Kerasoft ( http://www.jazma.com/kerasoft.html ) and Paul Mitchell products for both styling and conditioning. And once Blended Beauty is offered on Curlmart I would like to try them.

Kerasoft is CG I think if not completely CG everything is water soluble. I have never had a problem with build-up when I use her products. And shipping to the US is not expensive at all. I recommend her leave-in (liquid), conditioners, curl revival, and curl enhancer.

I am not sure if Paul Mitchell is CG or not. I do know I prefer his conditioner to Elucence. My hair was softer with PM and Kerasoft than any other conditioner I have ever tried.

Let us know what you try and post pictures!

I haven't tried anything new to the market lately, just new to me. New to me is Kinky-Curly Curling Custard, and my hair likes it but the drying time is soooo long. Also, MyHoneyChild has products on Curlmart that sound good. New to the market, I want to try Blended Beauty-- the hair lotion. Curltopia posted that she uses it alone, no gel on top. Right now you have to get it from their website, and the shipping is kinda high since it's from Canada. But like Cehua said, Curlmart's supposed to get it soon.

Subbrock-

I am happy to give you some suggestions. But what do you want the styling product to do for your hair I have so many stylers that it is hard for me to give you good suggestions, even though I have seen your lovely hair albums. It helps to know what you have tried, but I need a little more information in order to weigh in.

Ok. I use leave-ins to weigh down my hair, and a dab of honey will add shine, particularly if added to gel. (Pokahontas swears by Oyin Shine and Define for shine, but I can't vouch for that since I've not yet used it).

Here are some great leave-ins for you to experiment with, and why I love them

* Blended beauty hair lotions - these are soooo good! moisturizing, but not greasy at all, just lovely. available in curlmart soon.

* Akiva Naturals secret potion - this is very heavy. but if you use it overnight and then rinse the next day, your hair will lay really flat and retain good moisture. you might need to shampoo since it is a very heavy product. anyway, it is sort of like a natural texturizer.

* Jane Carter Solution hair nourishing cream - this is an all around wonder product for me. i rave about it all the time. i love it.

* Mixed chicks leave-in. this is not cg-friendly because it contains a cone. but it makes my hair really glossy and moisturized and well-behaved. if you are willing to shampoo once a week to remove the cone, then you might like this product.

Have fun experimenting! And definitely post pictures
