awww thank youuu! but seriously...my hair doesnt stay like that for long. i usually have to put it up after like 3 hours...it gets HUGE. I NEVER let people touch my hair either or it'll get really frizzy...hahaha
this is my routine: (i wash my hair every other day)
- shower
- use little shampoo or sometimes go without shampooing
- i use pantene pro-v conditioner for curls and comb it through
- i leave that in for a little bit while i shave, etc.
- i flip my hair over while im in the shower..but i dont let the water hit my hair (i just started doing this recently..it's not as messy as what i used to do)
- then i comb my hair upside downthen i rinse my hair again because the comb makes it stringy even though its a wide comb
- thennnnn i put in a little bit of the conditioner again and start putting my gel in (bed head-creative genius) and rub it through every place that I can possibly get to
- this is all while im upside down haha

- i flip my hair back up...and put some gel in my hand and get the roots/top parts of my hair and then flip back over and scrunch it until its not that wet anymore
- then put a towel on my head
if you dont scrunch it while it's drying you'll get hard hair with that gel...so i keep scrunching it so its not that plasticy..but I HAVE to keep it a little hard so it doesnt get huge within an hour...
it sounds very complicated but thats how i do it! i do my hair and break my neck all at the same time! & i go through a bottle of gel a week ($16 a week)

Oh you girls have really beautiful hair! That's mine, I think I'm a 3b, what do you think? These pics are quite recent, but lately my hair looks extremely fizzy and voluminous (voluminous in an horrible way I mean), that's why I'd want to have a new haircut.

Just so you know after looking at some shorter cuts (like yours and others) I did the big chop last week. I too am going back tomorrow to have more taken off the back - keeping the sides still a little longer but more angled..........way easier to dry and style!!!

Not sure if I am a 3b- but here goes.
I'm suffering split ends at the moment because of overcolouring..and still trying to come up with a routine that my hair agrees with.
I've just recently switched to Jasmin and Henna pre shampoo condition, curly wurly shampoo, coolaulin condition..all by Lush. Hair feels alot softer, smells gorgeous, and the curls are staying in place.
Why is this always a battle.

gorgeous curls
Again, everyone's curls looking beautiful.
DL - your curls are GORGEOUS - do not cut them off if you don't have to. Your hair looks shiny & healthy - radiant & they frame your face nicely. I'm in awe.
~I love curls~

Thank you JenniKS! I really appreciate it.
Honestly, my hair is seriously thick so that helps.
--I wash with a low-poo shampoo (pretty much daily, my hair is so thick it seems to like to have a clean slate every day!)
--Comb thru a leave-in conditioner with head flipped over(using Abba right now)
--Scrunch in small amounts of KCCC with head flipped over (I can't use very much of this or it gets icky)
--Scrunch in curl keeper with head flipped over
--I clip back the hair on the top of my hair until the hair hanging down is dry
--unclip to top (it is still pretty wet)
--bend over and scrunch
--let it air dry
--scrunch out crunch when dry
--lastly, slip my fingers into the roots and lightly shuffle/rustle just right there at the root (sometimes I might use a little tweek doing the same thing)
That is really it.
Thanks again!
