Well, I was thinking I was a 3bish person but looking at all of these gorgeous beautiful curls makes me wonder.

I don't seem to have a recent photo that's the correct size...and I'm being called by hungry kids. Maybe you can tell from the profile pic?

Thanks, gotta go!

Look at the little drawings first--which is your strands most like. Or are your strands more than one type.

When my hair falls out or I pull it out, it's like 3.

Then read the descriptions. Look at the pics. BUT, really, look at the illustration and do a strand comparison. I found that helpful.

I don't look good without bangs so can you tell me how you did them. Think the pic was taken on 07/21/09. How far back are they cut. I think thats the problem...my stylist cuts mine back too far and then cuts the top too short but says I need volume. Any suggestions? I'm older than most of you gals so have to style hair to suit me.

Wow, Speckla, your hair has gotten so long! Looks really healthy too! Are you trimming it all along the way? Asking because I trim about 1/4" every 4 months and my hair seems to not grow anymore.

Spiralli,
Thank you. I only trim once a year now if absolutely necessary. My hair is still growing about 1" per month at this point. My ends look pretty good because I rarely wear my hair down and I keep my ends tucked under if I do wear a braid.

Ok, I'm still confused- 3a/3b, girls? I took some pics of my hair earlier today- I've been rocking some awesome hair since I used my new no-poo (Sorry, it's not available for sale unless you buy the water conditioning system DH and I bought) on Sunday- I've only been doing rinses since!

Condish: CJ Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner
Shampoo (Sulfate-free): Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat (use 1-2x/week)
Styling Product: HETT mousse

TRYING to grow it out- maybe softer water and going almost strictly CG will help!

I LOVE HENNA!
Any "older ladies" with 3b hair want to share pics? I'm 60yrs old, have 3b, fine and thin, coloured hair. Its hard to find pics of hair styles that have a "perky" or "fresh" look for ladies around my age. I love kathymack's hair and would love to see other pics. I definitely need a fresh new look, so need suggestions.
