Wow, aye.. gorgeous curls!
Permaculture I think your hair might be a 3a right now, but probably a 3b when its shorter.. I'm finding I'm not sure if I am 3b... as it grows the weight of the hair pulls the curls out a bit.
Finally I have a pic up.. it was a nice sunny day and not a bad hair day too!
Lately with all the new techniques I've learned here I am finally feeling happy about the condition of my hair. It's not really where I want it yet, but it's getting close.
I noticed this kind of halo of frizz.. just hairs that stray from the spirals. I'm hoping that when my hair is rid of all damage done by chemical colour it might be perfect. Any ideas on how to cure this would be GREATLY appreciated!
I've been on CG for 3 months with poo only before hennaing every 4 weeks or so. Click the thumbnail to zoom.

Hi I am really new to CG and wearing my hair curly. I am still working on my routine and reducing the volume and the frizz.
Do you think I am a 3b?

This is me right after waking up, so excuse the half asleep look on my face :P
I'm fairly certain that I'm a 3b/c mix because some of my curls are unbelievabley tight, but since my hair is heavy they get weighed down and stretched out a bit ^.^

Hello and thanks to all of you for posting pictures. I'm so inspired by them. I just joined today and I'm trying to learn to care for my 6YOs curly top. I have curly hair as well but hers is much curlier than mine and a totally different animal.
Here is her picture and what I hope to refer to as her "before" picture eventually! She has a lot of breakage around her crown from the overuse of rubberbands for ponytails.
Before she started school, I had plenty of time to wet her hair each morning and let it dry naturally but with the crazy morning routine we have now, it has become the norm to do ponytails or braids and it is reeking havoc on her curls.
I'm looking forward to using a gentler approach and watching her hair grow out and transform. So without further ado, here is my noodlehead:

I suppose that I should have posted a picture of the nape of my neck, that's where my little cluster of 3c are hiding :P And thanks for the compliment, it's taken me a lot of time and money trying to figure out how to make my hair look nice, and my good hair days still aren't an all the time thing. I posted most of the products from my stash when I did a little "fall cleaning" earlier this week. I'm a hopeless product junky! Oh and by the way, your curls are gorgeous RCC!
