Got my hair cut last week and finally had time to take a picture of it. Still learning how to take care of long hair, but been on the CG program for 8 years or so. My hair ranges from 1 to 3b depending on place and how my hair is cut.

Mariee, a few questions, if you don't mind: what hair cleanser do you use? I sometimes use the Honeysuckle conditioner too. I really like Aubrey Organics, especially the Rosa Mosqueta conditioner. I also want to know uf you cut your hair dry? You have absolutely gorgeous curls!! Thanks, - AUsomecurls

The products that will work best for you are really more dependent on your hair porosity, thickness, protein sensitivity, etc. A certain product might work wonders for someone with your hair type but make your hair look like an angora rabbit that was just dunked in a pot of peanut oil.

I think I figured out my hair is 3B, not 3C.

I want to grow it as long as possible. Often wear it up in a pony tail or in a clip, or have it braided.

Honestly, it looks more 2c/3a in those pics. But, that makes growing it out that much easier.

Actually that pic on the left is misleading because it shows the outer layer as somewhat relaxed. Most of my hair gets very coiled up as can be seen in this pic.

The next time I see my stylist I will ask her about long layers. I am getting the triangle head.

Every time I visit this section of the forums, I start to question whether or not my hair is even 3b, but I guess that's what I'll stick with for now!

1) Long! At least for me. About a year ago.
2) After getting a bunch chopped off...
3) Lately I've been getting this curl in that spot, and it makes me laugh! I had to take a picture of it one day, because it kept hitting me in the face while I was trying to read. I wish my whole head was covered in those!
4) Right, so this isn't the greatest picture of ME (and my hair isn't normally that red-ish), but that's a more recent picture of my hair... That's the length it's at now. I actually took that picture right before straightening it... I regretted straightening it as soon as I started!
