I was told I was 3c/3b but that was with product in my hair and all that. So here are some pics with no product, it has a lil biolage conditioning balm but that's it. This is after running some errands with the wind blowing like crazy!

Pretty.

It's 3b. The curl diameter isn't narrow enough for 3c.

Unhappy I just need help.

Hello My name is Clarissa, Im 17 and I have struggled with curly hair all my life. The thing is, I have always loved my curly hair soo much. But where I live, curly hair is considered "nappy" and "unattractive." Which is what led me to the biggest mistake of my life, a relaxer. I was bullied right into it. And regretted it ever since. I am very informed about curly hair, But for some reason when it comes to my own I don't know what to do. I have naturally 3b hair, and it curls well when im out the shower and have applied hair products. Im not cg yet, don't quite understand it but I use shea moisture curl and style milk while its wet for some moisture, and then a mix of noodle head and mixed silk leave in for definition. But after awhile it looks dead, and the next day it definitely looks lifeless and frayed and yuck. I recently cut off about 5/6 inches to get rid of damaged ends from a relaxer 2 years ago and its finally all curls and there are no more relaxed ends yay. It just still seems to "ugh" if you understand. And my ends are so frizzy as well as the rest of my hair. Does that mean its all damaged so I should cut more or what? I may be over reacting im not sure, I'm unfortuantly OCD so I may be over analyzing what may just be a bad case of frizz in combination with bad hair product choice. I just need help. I including a few pictures, trying to help you guys see my curl pattern, its all I have. I don't have a camera right now so Im sorry about the bad angles and lighting. I hope it helps you get an idea though. Any response would be very much appreciated. You girls are all my curly hair inspirations!

I'm not seeing the damage. Your hair is beautiful. Perhaps it's the pics but I'm just not seeing anything at all wrong with your hair!

Thank you, It may be the pictures. I'll try to get better ones, but im going to start cg and see how it goes. Ive been off of sulfate shampoos on my own for a year or so and I just checked my current regimen and I was only using one product that had bad silicones in it and it only had one bad silicone. I really loved that product, but im willing to get rid of it. I don't think taking that product out will make a big difference in my hair though. Seems I was almost already cg and didnt even know it lol. Does anybody know if TIGI Noodle Head is a cg product? And I just bought this deep conditioner no more then 5 days ago and these are the ingredients, are they bad? I see a bad cone in there :/ Could I use it or would it be bad to use it?

Wow, even with no product and wind your hair is great! It looks like mostly 3b with a little bit of 3c. I think I have 3b hair naturally but I fried and dried it so now it's mostly 3a. A couple of shorter pieces (new growth since I've been nicer to my hair) is definitely 3b

So I'm pretty new to this, and I am not CG yet, although I want to start. I'm pretty sure I have mostly 3B hair, but can someone tell me if I am correct? I'm really not sure...
