I think I'm in the right place here. This pic is my hair today. I recently chopped off TRd ends, there's still a little in the front that you can see (I've been keeping it a little longer there and smoothing it out just for the style). My hair looks looser than I remember it looking 3+ years ago, when it was last curly, and I'm not sure if it's because of the length or because I had done the Brazilian smoothing treatment (in the hopes that I could transition from TR instead of chop off all my hair) done in October. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'm a 3B I've been doing CG and I've noticed a big improvement in moisture and frizz level in my hair. Very happy to have found this site!

Hair Help
I am brand new to this site and to curly hair! My hair has been very short all my life. Finally I started growing it out and saw curls coming out!! Can someone please identify what type I am? I think I am a 3A/3B mix.

Pretty hair! If you don't mind my asking, how long ago did you have keratin done? I had it done on mine 5-ish months ago while still wearing TRd ends so that I could try to grow it out straight and then chop it off. I got impatient to go curly and the hair didn't match anyway (TR was way more straight than keratin) that I chopped it all and now I have short hair that is way less curly than I remember it being before I started TRing it. I have a good picture of it from before I started straightening and my curls really looked 3C. So I'm curious how long it stays in your hair and has the effect of loosening curls.
