A deep treatment is when you Leave a conditioner in for like an hour then rinse it out

Ooh thanks!

After you rinse it out, do you cowash and RO like usual, or go straight to styling?

I finally cut off the last bit of TRd ends I had near the front of my face. This was taken after driving more than an hour on the highway with the windows down, so it's a little windswept, but I'm happy to be completely curly again.

Could be! What are your hair properties. My hair is medium/fine and medium/high porosity and according to everyone who has ever cut my hair I have a lot of it but the strands aren't thick

The back looks pretty much the same as what I have posted earlier in this thread, except a little longer. The only thing I've changed since then is I cut the sides myself, angling down around my face. I'm on third day hair and it's particularly messy because I was planning on just pulling it back today anyway, but after my next wash I'll try to post a side pic

Here you go. My hair isn't the best today because it actually tends to look better after sleeping on it/getting more of the crunch out, especially at the roots - I get better volume on my crown and overall it tends to lay better. But you can get the point of the cut Note that I did the sides myself and it shows LOL. I just realized that my right side still has a tiny bit of straight ends. Also as far as the color goes, my ends are lighter from dyeing it in December or so, you can see my roots are darker.

Thanks. Your hair looks great! That's the cut I want to get after I grow my hair out to donate. Since I'm going to cosmetology school I want something short but cute so I won't have to ponytail it all the time

My 3b hair works inÖ mysterious ways, to say the least. My first day curls are usually more wild, a little frizzy, and misshapen with a good amount of spirals tossed in. My second day curls start to calm down and clump together. And once my third day curls come around, itís all uphill from there! Basically, the longer I go without washing my hair, the prettier, more defined, and spirally my curls become. I havenít had a haircut in almost three and a half years in fear that my stylist will ruin the pretty curls Iíve grown for years. I finally have the length I have envied and wanted for so long. I didnít trust anyone enough with my hair, so I avoided getting a trim at all costs, never really realizing until now how easy it is for me to trim my hair myself! Because Iíve gone so long without a trim, I have split ends and quite a few single strand knots. But for the most part, my hair is moderately healthy, I think. A little too dry in some places because of all the harsh shampoos Iíve been using for so long (I only shampoo my hair about once every couple weeks, though). And I have more breakage than Iíd like, but hopefully my hair isnít too far gone that I canít fix it with all this new knowledge Iíve gained for curls thanks to this website. Tomorrow will be my first day starting the CG method and I am so excited to see how it works for me! I love my hair now (if only I had learned to love it throughout my early teen years instead of straightening it to hell every day), but after finding naturallycurly.com a few days ago and reading through all the message boards, Iíve realized how much more potential my hair could have and that my curls deserve all the extra TLC! Hereís to the new journey ahead!

A recent picture of my dry and freshly washed curls. I have them up in a half-do. Like I said, wild. My hair is usually boob/upper-mid back length when curly. And when stretched my hair is ribcage/mid-lower back length.

My hair on a GREAT day. I think this might have been my third or fourth day without washing my hair. This was taken last July.

This was Christmas two years ago.

This is just a silly picture, but it shows my curls pretty well. This was taken yesterday.

That's it! I'm really loving this community. You all have beautiful hair and so much helpful information! I'm learning a lot. I'm very thankful I found these forums.

My hair:

I just started doing the CG method 3 months ago and I love it! Up until the end of April this year, I straightened my hair every single day for 6 years because I didn't know how to make my curls look good/healthy and not frizzy, but then I found out about the CG method and I haven't straightened my hair since April. So I'm hoping this site will help me discover even more ways to help me rock my curls!
