Tresemme naturals moisturizing conditioner as my rinse out except i didn't rinse it out. Then i used eco styler krystal. And when it stopped being dripping wet, but still wet like in the first picture, i added Clairol 3 in 1 mousse and that's it..

Thank you!!
I'm sorta CG, but I don't sweat it.
Right now I'm using Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shampoo, HE Long Term Relationship (I think contains a water soluble cone), and IC Fantasia gel.

help not sure if I am a 3b or 3c
I have had an account for awhile.I have for months been reading but with my original account( my email have never been able to post or ask any questions) lol go figure today I jut logged in using my FB id and I am finally able to join conversations lol
I have been following the CG method for awhile and love it .All my life I have had my mom try to make me like my sister .Lol impossible to be honest as she has straight fine hair and I always had a head full of curls .
It was hard for me to figure out my hair type because looking at the pictures I never really fit into any picture group and they all looked to vary as well even in the same group .First to begin I am half Chinese and the other half a mix of amerindean indian ,chinese again lol ,german ,Portuguese and indian .No wonder it`s confusing . Anyways I went to a devachan trains stylist a month a go who told me I was actually a Botticelli and showed me a difference between her other clients who had corkscrew and corkicelli curls .She said my curl or if you want to call it wave pattern is too loose for those. She did not tell me which number type I am though .And I am so curious in finding out !
okay this picture was from when I first started trying Cg myself so since then I have learned to use clips at the top for height ...lol
if someone can let me know if i am a 3b or 3c would help
ty

I'm new to this forum and have been using the CG method since February this year.
I think I'm a 3B -curly girl - can you see if I'm right? Pic 1+4 is before CG (using shampoo and styling with conditioner).
My hair seems to be dry and it tends to get a bit frizzy and 'thin' on the second day... Do you have any advices for me?
Thanks, Puf

Puf,
Your hair is fantastic!
I'd say you are a perfect example of 3b hair. My hair definitely has less volume on day 2, it took some getting used to, but now I almost prefer it. Think of it as a "different" style instead of day 2 hair.

Thanks
Yeah, well maybe that's my problem... I don't really know how to style it on the second day - in a way so my curls still show, but not how 'flat' and un-voluminous it is. Do you have some tips or ways to do 2nd day hair styles? And what can I do about the dry-ness?
/Puf

My second day hair is flatter and more frizzy - there isn't anything I can do about it. I've just come to think of it as an alternative style to my first day hair. I even prefer first day hair that is still dampish since I have better curl definition.
The key to happy hair is realizing that it won't always be perfect, but it is great, and it is yours!
As far as dryness goes, I haven't solved that problem yet myself. I put oil in my CO wash, and I oil seal, but my hair always looks dry. I think it has somewhat to do with the color. Blonde hair just doesn't reflect light the way dark hair does. My hair is in great condition. It is tailbone length when pulled straight, and I don't have any split ends because I never comb, brush unless slathered with slippery conditioner, nor do I heat style. But I still can't get really shiny hair - so it can look dry.

I'm pretty sure I'm a 3B?! Sometimes I wonder if I'm a 3A though at times..or have some mixed in.
Porosity: high
Density: high
Width: I always thought thin, but test says coarse

Kitschy - I guess you're right about the color and dryness.
I would love to not diffuse my hair - but it takes sooo long to dry and I can't get up 3 hours before school to make sure it dries before I have to go. Also I ride my bicycle every morning and wearing a helmet too - so my hair gets flat in the crown if it isn't properly dry :-/
I'm gonna cut my hair today - as it is shown in the CG Handbook. Very excited! And hopefully it will help and not give me as many fly aways, frizzy and not-clumping hair... We'll see.
