kurly gurly, thank you for the compliment! My hair also loses its curl from chemicals - in my case coloring it. It's fun to color but it makes my hair dry, brittle and less curly. I don't plan to permanently color my hair again. Maybe a temporary color, maybe.

This is after a month of going sulfate free and a week after finding better products. Getting the Deva Cut in 2wks and can't wait. My profile picture was pre-CG so I think there has been some improvement.
I've included my curly boy. Everyone tells me that if his curls stay (daughters fell out around age 3 but she's still a 2a), he will be a lady killer.

3a-b/f-m/ii. Soft and silky texture and prone to tangles. Can't get second day hair, even if I kissed the feet of fairy's

Beautiful hair, everyone! Curly Carmen, your hair at the shorter length above looks very similar to my curl diameter. How did you style it at that length? Your hair looks great! (Both then and now.) I'm not able to grow my hair that long - it just grows outward after a certain point.

Serenesunshine: I just started the cg method about a month ago so i'm experimenting with products and using others up.
Shampoo: natures gate jojoba/giovani's TTTT
Co wash: suave naturals coconut
Ro: tresemme naturals
Li: kckt/ about to try giovani's dli
Styler: sm csm or ces and using up my oiudad tress effects gel.
I tend to either get really weighed down hair with great definition or volume with little to no definition. Still trying to find the right balance. How about you?
