I posted this on the other board but just saw this thread. Can anyone tell me if they have hair like mine? I think I am a 3B? I want some product advice!

Wow you have beautiful shiny hair! I would say you are a 3B, but I'm the wrong person to ask since I think most of the people here on this thread look like they are 3A!So what do I know? : )

Thank you for the reply. I got more sut off my hair last night so it is a bit different now. I am still trying to see if anyone has hair like me so I can see what they use on it

Hi! udoknowjac, I would take a look at your folki but your password is not working for me.
And I am probably one of those people who are 3a and posted on this thread! Sorry about that, I really don't know for sure I am a 3a since my hair is curly when wet, and it starts curling right from the roots even though it is pretty long. And my curls might look like they are S curls in pictures but they are actually pulled out ringlets. But had I not highlighted and low lighted my hair it might be even curlier for all I know. Larger sized clumping like I am doing now also loosens the size of the spirals - single hairs are way tighter. And a small crown section seems to be a 3c or tighter even - about pencil sized spirals. Anyhooo....nuff!

I think I have the same curl patterns you do.
I just discovered using the Curly hair solutions leave in ( I don't like the fast food, myself) along with a good amount of CK (but not as much as when that's all I use) and a little dollop of Recoil. As I posted in another thread: I'm in love with my hair the last couple days since I discovered that combo.
If life's a journey, then my inner pj is the fuel!

Thank you! You have beautiful hair. Yes, it kinda does remind me of the women on those romance paperbacks I see in walmart.

After doing a Skip Curl technique with CK & Leave-in.
My hair looks like curly sheep's wool, but it is very fine and soft.

Rocky B:
I love your curls! Gorgeous! Wish I could wear short hair, but I'm addicted to long hair + my husband would not speak to me if I cut it!

okay let's try that again. I am new to the site (obviously) and am fairly certain I have 3B curls. Here is a pre-CG pic, and I will post another once my hair has acclimated to the new routine.

Opera_curls, I adore the style you're wearing in your avatar pic! Not sure I could pull it off though. I might get brave enough to try it one of these days......
You have very pretty hair.

Thanks! I did that hairstyle when i went, well, to the opera! It's just a bun with some loose strands around the face and a short scarf tied around my head, held in place with bobby pins
And your hair is gorgeous, ibraidhair! I'm sure you would look very elegant with whatever style you choose.

Thanks to you too! My main problems before CG have been no volume at the roots, dry ends, and mid-day frizz. I'm just starting to see some improvement and I am PSYCHED

I'm not sure what I am, but I think I am in between a 3a and 3b. Thoughts?
(this photo is old and I look like a tool, thus the white blob)
