Default Need advice 3c very dry this month

Hi...Im looking for something to help my dd with her hair this month. Usually it is fine...but this month it seems very dry and it is getting tangled a lot. She is a 3c ...I believe...Her hair is very nice and she takes care of it on her own.

She is currently using Curly girl in the mornings...and drip dries her hair...or uses that special towel to wrap her head...but usually just allows it to air dry.

It just seems very dry and I really want to get something to keep it beautiful again. I guess it must have a lot to do with us being in the pool all summer...as we swim everyday here in S. Florida. I usually put a little CG as a leave in and it works...but here is her photo...

Here is agood example of how dry it is right now...

I've heard that if you wet hair and apply conditioner before swimming it helps your hair from soaking up all the chlorinated water. Also, if you do deep conditioners and just let her sleep with them on (put on a plastic condtioning cap and one of those turbans over) it should help her hair to be less dry and softer.

I agree with this. She is so beautiful. I'm in love with her hair. Does she model?

Ditto. Deep conditioner is the key. I've heard that Ojon in particular is good for applying before swimming. It's pricey ($55) but I don't think you have to apply very much.

Your daughter is adorable.

I was surfing the net for other hair info and I happened upon a cheaper alternative for swimmer's hair: shea butter. Apply it before she swims.

Hope this helps.
