3B Girl in need of HEIGHT

Hello 3Bers! I'm new and having trouble finding what I'm looking for.

I'm trying to get more height/volume at my roots. I usually try finger combing my hair/upside down/under water but I feel like the height could be better.

I generally use Tresseme Firm Control Mousse which tames frizz most of the time.

Are there any voluminizing products or techniques that are easy?

Thanks!
I was having problems with not getting enough volume at my scalp. The other day I did an apple cider vinegar rinse, and it was amazing. I had really springy curls again!

I brush gel into my hair, but when I'm brushing along my scalp, I try to lift up the comb a bit. I find this stops my hair from drying flat against my head.

Last thing....do you plop your hair at all? I find this works too sometimes!

I have used clips on top and let it dry. you have to find the ones with big teeth so you don't mess up the curls. just put them in on top after you put all your product in and clip the curls on top and let it dry or semi dry.
Very Thick dry 3b BSL.
Fine, medium porosity
Right now I am using GVP conditioning balm for cowash and RO,
my hair loves protein.
for styling my base is BRHG I can use it alone but prefer with Curl Keeper. I sulphate poo once a month or so as needed.

is there a certain type of clip that you like?

The hair's shape and style can be influenced or encouraged by the positioning of the roots at the moment it begins to dry. Use the duckbill clips to direct your curls, create height at the crown, or style hair away from the face.

I have the same problem. When I have time I clip, but since my hair takes a while to dry I can't always. I bought these kind at Sally's for a buck or two:

Medium texture
Average porosity

Crazy-picky hair; likes some oils and proteins, but not others, can tolerate some glycerin.

Current products-
Co-wash: Suave/Vo5/TJ Refresh
Rinse out & Leave in: Suave Tropical Coconut/Garnier Triple Nutrition
Gel: Herbal Essences Set Me Up/Aussie Tizz No Frizz
Yeah those are the kind I have used. Also I use my diffuser the one with the long fingers and blow dry the top front of my hair bending over forwar but not upside down. That helps too.

I find that after 'my hair is totally dry' I turn upside down,,,,,scrunch the crunch and then with my fingers close to the roots and then shake them a bit. After I flip upside down there seems to lots of height! Yes - go to www.frizzoff.com and in one of his videos he tells you how to do it.............don't trust me.........trust him
