but the question, what are some names of people or things that you are constantly compared to just because you have curly/big hair? even if u don't look like them or not.

my the top 4 are:
1. jimi hendrix
2. maxwell (the old maxwell, i think he cut his hair now)
3. corbin blu (the guy from high school musical)
4. a poodle, lol

Diana Ross is a diva so I'll take that as a compliment. Macy Gray... well she acts like she has done alot of drugs so I don't take it as a compliment LOL

mi abuela calls me aunt jemima (sp?) when she wants to be mean.
All my cousins ever since i bc'ed call me "Jill" as in jill scott.
I guess getting called names comes with the territory of going against the grain.

I bc'ed last month so my hair is very short,but i want it really big asap so i brushed my hair dry(i know really bad) and brushed it up to get a big fro(or in my case a sad little fro...lol),and I was called a black panther...lol "power to the people"

Either way I don't care cause I have more good hair days than bad.. and when I'm having a bad one.. I know a GREAT hair day is just a co-wash or Henna treatment away!

My dad calls me one of Jheri's kids. Since I was born he has always thought it hilarious to make me look like I had a Jheri curl.

The only other comparisons I have gotten is Jill Scott and Angie stone. Now if only I could sing like either one of them......
