Default it's not a leave-in but I left it in... lol

how many of you have left in just regular conditioners... positive or negative results?

I started using this Biotouch hair mask for curly hair and I liked the way my hair was all shiny and defined while I had it in so today, I tried leaving it in... It stayed shiny and a little bouncy which I loved but of course the condish dried so teh curls were a little stiff on the very ends.

It's nice to see you over here

A lot of us leave in some conditioner. Some curlies leave in almost all of it - Amneris and Urbancurls are two examples. I leave in about half and sometimes much less than half - depends on which conditioner I use and how my hair is feeling. But leaving in conditioner is helpful for moisture and softness purposes. And it seems to make more economical use of conditioner too.

Do you ever order from curlmart? If so and you want product recommendations just let me know.

I like to leave in regular conditioner, but the last time I went to the salon, my stylist said that I had a lot of build-up. After clarifying, she had to apply a ton of conditioner b/c my hair kept lapping it up (b/c it had been moisture-deprived for so long). I had noticed that my hair was feeling extra dry, but hadn't figured out what was causing it. (I was rotating conditioners, but I think the main culprit may have been the Suave Milk & Honey.)

Anyway, she told me not to leave in conditioner, but I still do it. Tried using a sep leave-in for a while, but got lazy and went back to my old ways...

I only use regular conditioners as leave-ins - I slather on lots, detangle and go.

I love Elucence MBC, followed by Curls curl ecstasy and Coconut Cream conditioners, followed by Paul Mitchell The Conditioner, L'anza Be:Long, Regis DesignLine Olive, and others.

I leave in my conditioners, however, the conditioners that I leave in double as leave-ins anyway (it's labeled this way on the bottle). I use Elucence MB (THE BOMB!!!!) and Paul Mitchell The Conditioner (great too, but not Elucence MB). I love Elucence but it is harder to come by than the Paul Mitchell.

I also use the Jamaican Mango & Lime Leave-In. I LOVE THIS STUFF. I like to use it when I want "airy" hair. It's lighter than the conditioners and makes my hair fluffier.

I leave in my condish nearly 100% of the time. If I do rinse at all, it's for a few seconds and it's only to help with clumping and distributing. However, I should say that IMHO not all condish can be left in w/o rinsing. I am a loyal Jessicurl condish lover, and I have never had any problems leaving those in. However, there are some other conditioners that have ingredients that are not so good to leave in the hair. I can't think of any good examples off the top of my head. . . . long story short (too late right?) is it depends on the condish you use

Yikes. That is probably one of the absolute worst products on the market today. Yes, I have used it...before I went CG. But even then, I was like ummm, no.

Brazilian-

Please don't waste your money or your time on crap products like Pantene. If you want to try drugstore products and don't mind cones, Loreal Curl Vive, Nuetrogena Triple Moisture and John Frieda Sheer Hair Repair and the blonde/brunette conditioners are all tons better than Pantene. I've even heard good things about the new Dove for dry hair line, but haven't tried it.
