I have been a lurker for a while so I decided to join in the fun. I just go a digital camera so here are my new pictures. I did my big chop in September 2005 and my last perm was December 2004. I have about 5-6 inches of hair right now. Could anybody help me and tell me what my hair type is. I would love to know.

Your hair looks 4a to me. On one of the pictures it looked 3c, but when I saw your wet hair it confirmed to me that you are 4a, because the hair was not straighter when soaked with water.

Your hair is beautiful no matter what type it is. It looks like your hair has alot of curl pattern, so I might be wrong. Or maybe the products that you are using are making your curls not form like they should. When your hair gets longer you should see your hair type better.

Very nice pictures and you have lovely curly hair. I have different textures but I just say my hair is 4b because I don't know what any of that stuff means and I like claiming that which most people dislike.

Thank you very much everybody. I thought that I was 4a, but I was unsure. I think that I am mostly 4a with a litte bit of 3c on the sides and the nape.
