When I said "losers", I meant it sarcastically. And yes, JazziJenni81 does have some beautiful hair!

Take my words at face value. Disection and over-analyzing is not required to understand them. I'm not trying to get s@#tty with you, but everyone else seems to understand perfectly so I won't hold it against you if you decide not to post on this thread again.

I wasn't being ****y with you either. I didn't understand how people correcting your posts/responding to you was ignoring or dismissing you. I don't think everyone else understands it either but alas, I shall give up trying to understand...

Maybe you should PM a link of this thread to the loudmouths. Maybe because they're directly involved, they'll comprehend it better than I did.

Thanks for all the replies!
I can't help but think as obviously, so do some others, that if you don't have "perfect hair" then your opinion means nothing. I have spent a lifetime rejecting my hair and doing everything in my power to make it everything it's not. I don't do that anymore. It irritates me that when you are truly natural, you don't count. I thought it was all about accepting our hair for what it is?

I really like the way your hair looks in your avatar-have not seen other pics. i think many of us try to enhance our natural hair with products that can make it healthier and less likely to break and split. I think that is accepting our hair for what it is and trying to make it as healthy as we can. the nice thing about our hair is that it can do so many things and luckily there are good products for curlies around now. My hair can be HUGE or sleeker depending on how i feel that day. But I am totally with you in terms of being a real curly and never straightening my hair. Though some people like to do this and I think it is fine if they do it in a temporary way and do not harm their hair, it seems now like it is so NOT ME (and so much work) that I cannot imagine doing it. I am so happy not rejecting my hair any more and am really glad that most of us on nc.com are learning to accept and enjoy our curls. Gaby keep up the good work! Jazzijen I love your hair--it looks really healthy and shiny.
