My fotki albums are back up........

I decided to share my albums again for a while. I created a new "naturally curly hair" album with pictures of how my hair looks right now, added to my products album and kept (but edited/cut down) my texturized album so you can see the big difference between my texturized and natural hair.

Looking back, I do really love the way my texturized hair looks. But, for now, I am very happy with my natural and very healthy curls

Thanks, 13. You are too sweet

Thanks, Banjo. Yup, the reddish tone is enhanced. My natural color is dark brown. And the PJ'ness is out of control. I keep putting myself in PJ jail and then finding ways to escape (or, take day passes)

Wow, Curltopia, your hair looks awesome. I love your natural curls. Thanks for sharing. Now I must go back and scope out your hair products.
Thanks so much, Delma, Betweenshades and Medussa. You are all sooo sweet

Medussa-

I am going to update some of the product descriptions to add more information/reviews and more pictures of even more products, but it may take me a week or so. My next plan is to add pictures of my hair after using Jessicurl stylers because they loosen the curl a lot for a different look (and I need some Jojoba Jelly pictures too!). Anyway, you (and many other amazing curlies) have shared so many of your awesome hair pictures that I felt it was time to make these albums available again

I will post more pictures from time to time. And, by fall 2006, I hope to have some real length to show too!

Curltopia, these are such cool, well-laid out pics. It's inspiring to see people growing out the chemicals with such healthy, well-formed curls & the format is easy to follow for people wanting to try your ideas out. I also think your hair inspirations album is great, particularly how you tried to cover a range of curly hair patterns and sizes. Your product pics had me thinking about how many great curl products I am missing out on, trying to restrict myself to a monthly quota (btw, how would you describe the consistency of the Batia & Aleeza and Biolage gels?) A very well-put together album overall, I know I will have to have my game at a high level when I finally put together mine!
The texturized is OK and looked nice, but truthfully I favour the natural curls SO much more!

Thanks for the update.
You guys are so great and I definitely feel the love

Brazilian - I hear you, girl!! Maybe if I ever get a DH he will be able to keep me in check

Jeamaria - Thanks for the lovely feedback. I did put some effort into my albums and wanted them to be useful to others. I can't wait to see your albums too! As for the 2 gels you mentioned, Batia & Aleeza is a thin, watery gel with a silky feel. It leaves my hair with a great smooth texure and I just love it. BUT it does have a lot of protein so I have to rotate it. And I might like it better in warmer weather. Biolage Gellee is my HG gel, but I am still using a bottle of the old formula and can't speak to the new formula. It is thicker than B&A but not too thick, the consistency and the hold is just perfect.

Sisa - Thanks doll face!!! Your input will help motivate me to stay away from texturizing... Plus, I am curious to see my natural curls at BSL.

That's one big-ass jar of brown conditioner!

So glad to see your beautiful curls! I really like the way you organize and explain your pics. I thought I was a product junkie, but you take the cake girl!

Lovely, Miss Curltopia!

And I agree with Sisa. Your texturized hair is nice, but I love your natural texture better.

How many more inches do you have before you'll be "chemical free"?
A wonderful mix of coils, curls, corkscrews, and kinks.
