Anyone a JessieCurl fan?
 

Does anyone use and/or love her products on your 3c hair? I just got an email about a flat-rate shipping sale, which would be a good time to try something new. I love Too Shea, but was wondering about the loo-poo and styling products. any recommendations?

I mainly use her products during the warmer months
so last week I pulled her line out to start using in the
spring.
I just took advantage of her flat rate shipping sale and
stocked up on the WDT. I bought 3 jars. I also bought the
stimulating oil.
For 3c hair, I recommend the HCC, Aloeba, TS & CCSS
on sopping wet hair for best results.

i love the WDT!!

i like all of her products, but the reason i stopped using them, except for the WDT, is that they werent heavy enough for my hair. they made it even curlier!

My hair is 3b/c and it loves certain Jessicurl products.

Too Shea, WDT, Aloeba and her oil blend are my absolute favorites. Confident coils is good too. Rockin Ringlets is OK, but I rarely use it anymore. I did not care for her other styling products.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Curltopia, the sample pack is a great idea...I'll do that, but on the next sale. I somehow managed to quell my pj-ism this time, but I still want to give her products a try.

Can anyone describe what the different scents of her products are? I'm not sure w/ch one to choose.

Also, does the WDT have to be used w/ heat or can it be used on its own?

I've never tried her products either. I was just at her website for the first time, on Wednesday.

Another generous curly is sending me some samples to try out before I buy anything.

You can use the WDT with or without heat. I prefer heat for a intense deep treatment.
As far as that scents go, if you like the smell of lavender go with Lavender Citrus and if you like the smell of coconut, vanilla and anything tropical go with Island Fantasy. They are both great and I use both, but Island Fantasy is my favorite.

i love the island fantasy scent too. and its not too strong either

I just recieved my sample rich pack last week. So far I love the HCC, Tooshea and the WDT. The confident coils and rocking ringlets is okay but it just doesnt have enough hold for my thick head of curls. The Island fantasy smells great..I like it alot better than the lavender citrus.

I have tried both scents of Too Shea, and I preferred the Lavender Citrus, which is strange because I typically love anything tropical-vanilla-coconutty. It wasn't bad...maybe just a little too strong for me.

Ummmm, what does HCC stand for? :oops: :)
