Default Styling your hair

After going thru the trouble of getting all the curls to come out and letting it air dry or diffuse, do you still "style" your hair after it is dry? Meaning, do you put it up, or back or just let it hang?

If I'm leaving it down, I'll style it while it is wet. (Eg: parting, clip)

If I want my hair up, or some up and some down, etc., I leave it down while it's wet, and then when it's dry, I style it. That way it doesn't take even more time to dry. (hair tends to dry quicker when it's loose than when it's in a ponytail and it's wet)

I usually leave it down on wash day because it looks good air-dried. Then, I pull halfway back somehow on 2nd day. I generally have it up by the 3rd day, then start all over again! LOL

Used to be CG, now I'm not. Using Suave Aloe & Waterlily shampoo & condish, JoiWhip, BRHG, Suave Aloe gel, Aussie Tizz No Frizz, and anything else that looks good!

This is what I do normally, so my process will probably not change now that I am trying the CG.

Also, if you pull it back when it's wet, it ends up drying slicked down to your head! I hate that!

As for me, pretty much the only time I put my hair up is when it's hot, I'm exercising, I have to keep it out of my face for some reason. I might throw in a few clips, or pull back the sides or something if I'm going out and want to make an effort, lol.
