Paddle Brush makes my curls undefined.
I find that alot of brushes especially the paddle brush, makes my curls too straight and undefined. It only leaves the roots wavy and the ends curly, but the middle part straight. :x I find that just using my fingers to comb gives me much prettier curls. :P Does anyone have this same problem?

I have this same problem! Yesterday I used a paddle brush and left my condish in and it looked nice for a while, but it got toooooo flat! The front of my hair was just wavy and the back was flat. I kinda looked like a triangle-head  My friend was like "Why is it so flat?". I think my hair is too short to use paddlebrushes because it makes my hair look weird on top....

Have you two tried scrunching after you brush? I brush too, but really only for detangling and clumping. Brushing does stretch out my curls too so I have to scrunch them after I brush them.
As for your roots, you could try butterfly clips to add lift. Give it a try when you don't have anywhere to go for the day, that way if it doesn't work you can re-wet your hair and style it the way you normally do. Good luck! :D |
YESSSSS!!!!
I don't like the paddle brush. I look like Annie by the time I get out of the shower  |
Do vent brushes suck all the water out like paddle brushes? Because my hair doesn't like to be brushed when *damp* or *dry*... i think this is why my hair looked so weird last time i brushed with my paddle brush.
