Well, after looking at these pictures I think I have been wrong about my hair. I must be more of a 3a - maybe 2c to 3a b/c my hair looks so much like many of the pictures in this thread. I need to get some good pics to post.

Hi, Im Manisha, I'm 16 and I'm reallly new. Everyones' hair looks so amazing. I'm so jealous that I still haven't really figured out a routine for my hair, and all these abbreviations for products make my head hurt. Lol. I'm not really sure if I'm a 3a either, my hair used to be very curly when it was long, but I recently cut it.

Default First curly pics

Hey guys,

I found this site a few weeks ago and have drastically changed my hair routine ever since, I have banished the straighteners, cut out the shampoo and I am loving the results. After about 2 weeks of doing this, i did my hair today and I am finally in love with my curls! Its a really exciting day, so I just had to share my photos. I originally thought I was more 3b-3c, but after viewing all the photos in this category I think I fit into 3a better.. so here goes.. my first curly pics!

The only slightly annoying thing is how short my hair looks now! Its BSL when its straight, and it bounces up to sit on my shoulders when its curly! I'll just have to keep growing it! Its taking soo long!

This is the thread I've been looking for!! My curl type has changed so much over the years, I'm really confused and not sure *what* it is anymore. I thought that I was currently a 3a, but my hair is nowhere near as curly as some of yours. (ALL of your pictures are so gorgeous by the way, I am massively jealous!!)

Before I chemically straightened my hair, it was probably a 3a/3b. Then I damaged it massively into frizzy waves, but have been growing it out, and since being CG some of my curl has come back. It's still growing out into its natural pattern, and the health of it still needs improving, but can anyone help me out on my curl type please?!

Thank you - sorry to be so clueless!

Hard to tell, but my guess is 2c-3a.

Default Everyone has got such beautiful curls

I have been switching up my products....each day is a new combination. I took a photo the other day, my curls look a little looser here than normal. Today they are a bit tighter.

***See pic in my thumbnail***

Love this thread!
