MusicalEloquence, I am loving the new hair cut! Your long hair was beautiful, but this new cut is totally springy and amazing. I'm loving it! (And your piercing, too!) You look beautiful. Slivola, I have totaly hair envy... I'd die for your length and texture!

Here is my hair... I've been having trouble growing it out, since I've had to continually go in for trims to get rid of some flat iron damage from ages past. Darn!

MJLove- Thank you! BTW, your hair (and you) are beautiful! I think that length and style is VERY flattering on you. I love how your curls are so uniform. When mine was your length, I had tons of sections of 3b skinny curls and then some looser 3as. It was very challenging at that length. Funny you mention liking my texture because I really don't have much at all- it's just this new texturizing cream that I put on when I'm finished diffusing. It has transformed my hair making it look so much more textured and full bodied. I don't quite understand how it works without weighing it down and never being sticky, but it does.

Hello fellow 3a's! What's this AOHR you guys seem to love?

I'm currently using Davines Love / Lovely Curl Enhancing Conditioner, Eufora Curl'n Defining Solution, DevaAngell...

Would you consider me a 3a?

Thanks! In that picture I was using all Deva products because my old stylist in NYC was Deva trained and got me started on them. Right now I'm using the Eufora and Davines products and I'm not sure how I feel about them. Also I made the mistake of doing a BKT on my hair in January and I'm waiting for it to wear off. My hair still curls just not as well at the moment.

Another girl unsure if I belong on here or not! The first picture is my hair just after its been cut at Devachan.

And the picture on the right is when I try and style it myself! I used all the products how they did in Devachan, but it still doesn't look as good. I am sure it is a mixture of application and the big space aged dryer they use!

So what am I? Am I a 2c or a 3a or neither? I need to know where I truly belong!

I am getting fab hair envy from all you beautiful curlies.

mrsgp, it looks like we may have similar curl patterns.

This is my hair yesterday -- it's been a year since I started the CG method. This is what I used before I took the photo:

Desert Essence Organics Italian Red Grape Shampoo
Spiral Solutions Caitlin's Conditioner (rinse out)
Kinky-Curly Knot Today Leave-In Conditioner...To style:
Homemade flax seed gel
Kinky-Curly Tiny Twirls styler, with a little bit of Kiss My Face Upper Management gel on top.

Are you serious?!?! I think your hair looks better on the right!!

I'd say you are a 3a, but I'm new here so I may be wrong (it's happened once )

Here are my curls...I think, from what I'm seeing...I'm a 2b in the back and a 3a in the front. I'm still new to CG though, so I'm hoping as time goes on, my curls in the back get more curvaceous I love seeing the before and after...these pics are my befores!!

Thanks, CurlySA (and MsGiblet)! My mom cuts my hair (she's a semi-retired hairdresser) but I just know one of these days she's gonna move to Florida full-time and I'll need to find someone new to cut my hair. I dread that day!!
