I think my hair seems to waver between 2c and 3a. It's hard to see in the pics, but I definitely have much more curl definition in the front. (issue with technique, maybe?)

How come the majority of you guys have shoulder length bobs? Why not grow your hair so it's long and sexy!? I know when I visit the salon those guys love to give us layers and a good chop but i think the best way to make the best of our curls is long and luscious! Not be made into a wig to rival crusty the clown! Come on girls tell them where to go with their scissors and get growing!
Ive been reading a few posts on here were girls have been saying guys don't find curlies as attractive, I think that comes down to guys like long flowing hair that's really femine and sexy- nothing to do with the curls!
I haven't meant to offend any of you bob girls I just think we should embrace our wonderful
Curls and not be railroaded into bobs by our straight haired hairdressers! X

Your curls look so nice and shiny and defined! I have the same hair type as you pretty much.. between 2c and 3a. What do you use on your hair?

Here's my picture! I was CG for about a year before going to Africa and having to give it up for whatever I had to do to keep my hair and keep it clean.
This picture (sorry it's a little odd) is now after about a week back into full CG regime:

Britney- thank you so much- your curls are beautiful as well!
I've only been CG for about two months so I am the ultimate PJ right now. But my favorites so far:
co-wash:tresemme naturals radiant volume
RO: either GFTN or Tresemme Naturals nourishing moisture (there's really a noticible difference for me between the two formulas)
LI: whatever I use as RO
Gel: LA Looks (I alternate between sport gel and nutra-curl)
DT: One n' Only Argan Hydrating mask (literally the only cone-free product in their entire line)
I also use a low-poo regularly but don't have a favorite yet. I'm alternating between a few different ones at the moment.

I'm a 2c/3a mix but whatever, I'll post mine anyway
Everyone has such lovely hair! I hope my hair will be this pretty after a while CG. (I'm only about 2 months in)
PS I've had curlier days-This is my hair first time curly after straightening for 4 days So not as tight on the right side lol...also this was a rainy day and my curlshad to withstand people playing with tem and my backpack strap. (My hair just cannot stop getting caught under there!) and I was going for more volume rather than curl definition today... But anywhoo, I thought I'd post pics while I had some

I am 3b, but I've been wearing my curls looser lately, which makes them look 3a (my hair is a 3a, 3b combo). When I use gel instead of mousse, my hair is curlier. I am going through a mousse phase. I don't try to make my hair as curly as possible, if that makes sense. I'm not trying to make it less curly either- just experimenting. I think my curls are more defined this way. And that post really doesn't have much to do with anything does it? lol

Flax seed hair gel
I just have to share! I made my first flax seed gel yesterday and I fell in love with it. I only have a webcam so this pic sucks, but here goes;
(I don't know why its so small, klick on it!)
I slept with wet hair with the gel in it.

Everyone's hair is so pretty! I'm jealous.
Here's my hair:
Joce(hair) picture by joce46176 - Photobucket (it won't let me just add the picture..)
I'm some where between 2C-3A. P: My bangs and most of the top layer of my hair were blow dried and straightened(in the process of growing out short layers and my bangs look better straight). The rest is streched out and clumped because it's winter and my hair tends to behave...well, strangely, otherwise. Also pardon its lack lusterness. I was in desprate need of a trim at the time and hadn't sealed my hair with coconut oil yet. >_< And for the record I'm almost but not quite CG. My gel has a silcone or two as does my heat protectent, but that's it.
