Quite frankly I believe we're a mixture of all racial/ethnic backgrounds so I don't concern myself with such questions.

I'm mixed, but you would never know it just by the color of my skin. Most people just assume I'm 100% white. Little do they know.

I am not mixed but I have 3b hair that I am just now realizing I have. I big chopped July 24th. My daughter is mixed and has 3b hair which I thought was a combo of mine and her father's hair. I big chopped for her because she hated her hair....everyone around her had straight hair. I didn't want her to relax her hair so I promised her I would cut my hair if she gave her hair a chance. I was quite shocked to see the curls in my hair (because I had asked my mom about my childhood texture and she had told me it was hard to comb/manage). My daughter is 11. If it hadn't been for her I would never have been able to free myself from the bondage of a relaxer. She now loves her hair because she can now identify with someone who has hair like hers.

I would just like to point out that technically Spanish people are a mixed raise, that of the Celtic and African. (Sorry, the historian in me coming out.)

Many asians have hair that is dry and coarse {think relaxed hair w/o product and blowdried} thats why they have japanese straighteners. Race has nothing to do with genetics. example of what i mean? Black people not being able to grow long hair, all white people have silky straight fine hair u guys get the picture. Btw im black up to 4 generations on mom side and likewise on my dada and i have 3b hair

I'm mixed with mostly Cambodian & Italian, a little Chinese. My hair has a mixture of everything I'm mixed with! My hair is 3b/3c, my hair is thin like most Italians I know, but yet, strong & resistant to chemicals like Asian hair. It's so curly & unruly but I LOVE it! Took me a while to appreciate it because I didn't know how to take care of my hair. Now, I can't imagine ever picking up my hair straightener again! Which kind of sucks, because before I appreciated my hair, it took me 45 minutes to straighten it! I had to have a good straightener.. My hair straightener is $150, which is the sucky part!
But heeeeyyyy. My curls are already coming back after barely a week of CG method! 😊

Yea mixed girls tend to have 3b hair but a lot of other ethnicities can have 3b hair too.
I'm mixed like really mixed lol. I have african, scottish(white), indian, spanish and native ameri-indian. This is just too much work to say so when people ask me I usually just say black because that's the side I relate most with. Little off topic their but yea.

3b here (obvi)...mixed w/ Arab and African (Kenya and Lesotho) backgrounds. I've noticed this observation to be pretty dead on. Though a lot of my full Latina friends are 3b/c as well

I'm middle eastern but most of my family and other middle eastern girls I know have beautiful shiny dark wavy hair. I had that hair until I reached puberty. UGH, I know I should embrace my curls but I really think I got the short end of the stick

I'm 3b and I am about as white as they come. Scottish, French, German and English. That being said, I get told I have hair like ethnic people all the time.
