Question What do you use with KCCC?

Hey guys! So, I am in looove with my KCCC and my KCKT. As expected, I am always running out of KCKT and it takes whole foods forever to get it in and I don't really want to pay shipping since I can buy it locally. So I always just end up pushing it until the back of the cabinet until I can get more KCKT to use with it. The two of them together seem to do wonders for my hair!

So my question to everyone is: What types of leave in's do you use under your KCCC? I'm looking for something that will give me similar results as the KCKT and hopefully it will be a little easier to get my hands on!

Thanks!

Abba Pure Gentle Conditioner is as good if not better than KCKT as a leave-in. I also use regular conditioners (Deva Blonde One C, Mop Top conditioner, etc.) as well as KBB Super Silky. Have used in the past Alba Botanical Leave in, Beauty without Cruelty Leave in, and Suave Naturals conditioner. Lots of stuff work.

I've used my 2 HG leave-ins with it and gotten good results: BWC and John Masters Organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler (such a handful to type that!). I only bought KCKT to use with KCCC because it was recommended on the site and here that they played well together. Honestly, I don't see much difference when I use KCKT or one of my other 2.

I mostly us the Knot Today also but sometimes the Jessicurl WDT or Giovanni Direct Leave-in works well too. Pretty much everything I try under KCCC works somewhat at least for me. I've heard of people experiencing white dots when the products don't mix, but that has yet to happen to me.

I started out with KCCC with KT, but now it's KCCC with Long Aid, after a leave in and oil, and I like that better. It feels more moisturized and holds the curl just fine.

curls2grow, what's BWC?

BWC = Beauty Without Cruelty's leave-in conditioner.

I just used KBB Nectar for the first time on Saturday and paired it with KCCC. I had the best KCCC curls ever! Great clumping and definition.

I mix KCCC with Deva B'Leave In, then squish them in together. I get well moisturized, well formed, bouncy curls with that combination.

Default With KCCC...

The first time I used KCCC with Giovanni Direct Leave-in. It worked well. The second time I used it with the KCKT. Not Bad. Its a great light weight conditioner. My hair need a lot more moisture though. So I've been using Shea Moisture Leave-in Conditioner and its my favorite and I used to swear by Giovanni Direct leave-in. I really like SMLI. It keeps my hair from getting dry and minimizes tangles without weighing my hair down. I know they say KCCC is not to be used with oils but I beg to differ. I think it works very well with products containing shea butter and surprisingly pure shea butter. Just apply it first and then use the kccc to add hold.

I use either one of these leave-ins underneath: KCKT or KBB Hair Nectar. Then plenty of KCCC and sometimes a little gel over it, I can go without the extra gel though.

Recently I've been experimenting with my homemade flax seed gel and one of the best routines is this: after conditioning my hair in shower, I rinse it all out, no leave-in, plenty of flax seed gel and then a little bit KCCC over it. This works so well for me.

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I tried it with Giovanni Direct Leave In because it was the first thing that I could get my hands on and it worked wonderfully! I'm in love ! It's half the price of KCKT and I can find it at Walmart, Target, and Vitamin Shoppe! Life is good!!!!!
