My best friend recently decided that she wanted to go natural and I am sooo proud of her because today she went to the salon and chopped of ALL of her chin length hair!!! She didn't even shed one tear! I admire her strength and I'm so proud of her for doing that!! I just wanted to share!

She called and asked me for advice and I told her the truth... It was the best decision I ever made. I was totally honest with her in saying that it wasn't easy afterwards. There are good days and bad days, but the good outweighs the bad. Some days I loved my hair and some days I wanted to crawl under a rock. But it was still worth it, because now I have a fabulous puff that I love to death and I wouldn't trade the experience for anything in the world!!!

I've already given her a list of sites (this one was on the top of the list) to visit. The day we went shopping for products (my PJ'ism is rubbing off on her) and I even offered to let her go thru my TWO bathrooms full of products to find some stuff that might work for her. It helps alot to have someone there to help. You guys were there to help me and now I'm passing on that help to someone else. It's like "the natural hair circle of life"!

Congrats!! Not a tear - awesome!! I think I got a bit misty eyed, then I cried, then I fell into a complete fog, LOL. J/K - actually, if it hadn't been for this place I would have never made it this far. It's so cool you and your best friend are taking this journey together.
