Default Would appreciate help.

I'm pretty sure I am a 3c. I love my curls and voluminous mane. However, I've been letting my hair grow longer this summer, and I've encountered one problem. My routine is pretty simple: I wash (seldom) with Aubrey Organic's Honeysuckle Rose Shampoo and condition with the same line's conditioner. I use a serum and spray with Tigi's Foxy Curls for styling. However, I've noticed that with my hair longer, the bottom layer of my curls differs in texture from the rest of my hair. The bottom has become very kinky and frizzy, and nothing I do has helped that. Has anyone had this same problem? What could I do?

Have you tried doing a deep conditioning? If not, you may want to incorporate that in your regime and see if that works. Also, make sure you don't need a trim.

I totally agree with the poster above. I find that my hair does that only when its dry or when it needs a trim because the ends are ratty.
