I'm new witht the classic questions...

I finally got two pictures up for you ladies to see to give suggestions.
First, my hait type, what is it? 3c or 4a
Second, anyone think they are my hair twin.

in both pictures that was taking in the morning and pretty much dry (80%) or so. It completely dries around 3 in the afternoon and then it is high and wider.

I am looking to cut down on the frizz. I currently have AubreyOrganics Cond., Jason Natural Poo, DevaCurl Angell and PM foaming pomade. Oh, citris shine gel (almost gone so looking for a gel) Am I off to a good start with products.

I did the BC October of 2004. Miss my TWA. Coming up on two years and tired of not having HG's or routine.
Your hair is very pretty! I think you are a 3c maybe with a smidgen of 4a. My hair is almost identical to yours! You are the closest that I have seen of a hair twin! I wish i knew how to put pictures up, but im very computer challenged. i also use Aubrey Orgainics Condish and I love it. My summer routine is working great for me, I hope it continues into teh fall. Your hair lokks moisturized and very nice! My hair has been natural for about two years also. It hangs like yours and everything. When I finally figure out how to post pictures, i'll be sure to let you know!
Super Thick corkscrews and waves. LOVE Elucence MBC, Giovanni 50/50 condish, Qhemet Products, V05 Calming Chamomile Tea Therapy condish, Jessicurl WDT. These are my official HG's that I love oh so much

I agree that you are 3c. Your hair is......Gorgeous very thick and well moisturized.

Hair Type: small 3c patch in the center, mostly 4a with a patch of 4b at my temples
Shampoo: Suave daily clarifying ( when I feel that need)
Conditioners: AOHSR, MM, olive oil
Styler/Leave-in: SheaMoisture, Fantasia IC, HNS
thanks ladies. That's how it looks just about every day or pulled back a smidge. Just kinda bored with it. Would love to take it off for the day like its a wig and have someone else deal with it.
Now that you have seen my hair any styling tips?
I think 3c too. Very pretty!

A good cut would give you more styling freedom in the front and some volume control in the back. You have a wonderful shape, but somewhat triangular, and it looks in great condition. I am so envious that your hair could grow from a TWA to that length in 2 years

In terms of taking it off for a day, if you want a different or a temporarily straight look, check out some of the other curlies' albums here. I've read some good things about Dominican-style hair salons that can give you a straight style with temporary tools and a break from your curls.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.

Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.
Your definitely a 3c in my opinion! Starting off with a good cut is key. And when coming up with a regimen all you really need are these key items: a moisturizing non-sulfate cleanser or conditioner wash, a deep conditioner, a hydrating leave in, and a curl defining cream/gel.

Your hair only needs to be washed and conditioned once every 5-7 days. And a good detangler for you to use is the KombBrush(which is a combination of a comb and brush). You can find it at www.kakakiki.com
Also sleeping on a satin pillowcase, is a must for any curly!

2 years next month. I didnt even have enough length to twirl. Could my hair be trianglar because I am trying to grow the layers out? Is that a no-no?

I washed, dried and flat ironed the other day. Used LIV which dried my ends out something nasty. By the time I flat ironed my whole head it was growing big on me. I almost just wet my hair and said forget it. I guess I will wear it in a bun since it is somewhat straight. This was my first attempt at straight hair since I cut it. Oh well. I have to find someone that wont rip me off for a wash/blow and curl. My stylist charges 35 but when she did mine she charged me 65! I just paid and rolled. She did a good job but ripped me off. Not ever again!!

Suggestions on a leave-in...Can I just not rinse out all my conditioner?

xfancy you hair looks great.
Curl Junkie Hibiscus & Banana Leave In Conditoner(It comes in 2 versions though). Even though you have thick hair, you may want to get both and switch back and forth between the 2. And you know what is so great about these products are that they can be used on wet and dry hair, and they can also double as stylers.
