1st Curlmart purchase and need advice

I finally ordered from Curl Mart and I have to say that I am very pleased with the delivery. I ordered the Elucence Moisturize Balance Conditioner and the Oyin Shine and Define. I really wanted the Curl Junkie Banana Deep Fix but it is currently out of stock. I am not really sure about how I should apply it and the amount I should apply so hopefully I will be able to come up with a routine. I rinsed the conditioner out, so I wanted to know does it make a difference if I rinse it out or is it better to leave in?Also, I kind of like the Oyin Shine and Define but the smell is not attractive and the jar is really small. Does anyone apply a lot of Shine or Define or just a dime size? Also, do you still use a gel with the Oyin Shine and Define? Would really appreciate the advice.
I still use Elucence as a rinse out conditioner from time to time, but I like it better as a leave in. While it is not my favorite leave in conditioner it does provide excellent slip and I don't have to use much of it. I haven't tried Oyin products yet.

keeta18, I've used the shine and define, and I found the jar was *way* too little, as well. My hair just drank it up, and while it boosted shine, there was no definition. I think it might work best on hair that, unlike mine, defines very easily; would your hair fall into that category? If so, a benefit of the S&D would be its light, touchable hold, zero crunch.

As far as Elucence goes, I think it works better as a leave in for me b/c it cuts down on static electricity and makes combing a breeze. The mimute I slap some on my hair my finger literally glide right through, and I do find that it keeps my hair moisturized all day.

Curl Junkie Hibuscus & Banana Leave-in conditioner (fine). All the marketing hype is "use rich, heavy stuff for 4a hair" but I went counter-marketing and pro-intuitive as to what my hair needs. This stuff is great! I've never tried the DT but if you need a leave-in, this is very nourishing, moisturizing, defining, softening and detangling, and a little goes a long way. I've tried CJ Guava cream, both protein and non-proten as well as the CJ Healthy condition. I prefer CJ conditioners and leave-ins to their stylers.

The Oyin S&D I got was 4 oz and I would have had to use the entire jar so a gel would be needed. No definition or shine on this head.
The smell also got to me. Other posters love it, so go figure.

Another good leave-in styler/curl re-former for day 2+ hair is Curls or CurlyQ Milkshake. I'm on my second jar.
