I am certainly not an expert on plopping - I found using a towel or t-shirt very difficult to plop with. I ended up ordering a microfibre turban and it is easy to use and get good curls all over with. I think I used to mess up my hair trying to get the towel secured on my head, with the turban it has an easy button closure so I am not fumbling around.
